I am a ferocious reader! I'm always on the look out for good Christian biographies and autobiographies such as Corrie ten Boom's The Hiding Place and Brother Andrew's God's Smuggler, just to name a few...
Right now I'm reading Count Zinzendorf: First Fruit (Christian Heroes: Then & Now) who was the protector and champion to the Moravian Christians when they were being persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church.
What are some of your favorites?

Not a biography per se, but Taylor Caldwell has written some amazing books on Biblical personalities:
Great Lion of God - about St. Paul
Dear and Glorious Physician - St. Luke
I, Judas - about, well, Judas
She's written so many amazing books, including The Listener and No One Hears But Him - she's been one of my favorite authors since I was about 17. Many of her books are OOP, but you can get them on Amazon or perhaps David (wateredseeds) could help.

Thanks for the recommendations Arlene and Wateredseeds. (Btw, that's a neat name, wateredseeds.)
Just finished Zinzendorf's book this weekend.
Here are some more really outstanding biographies/nonfiction I've read:
Evidence Not Seen: A Woman's Miraculous Faith in the Jungles of World War II Darlene Deibler Rose
The Cross and the Switchblade by David Wilkerson
Chasing the Dragon: One Woman's Struggle... by Jackie Pullinger
Children of the Storm: The Autobiography of Natas... by Natasha Vins
Bruchko ... by Bruce Olson
Living on the Devil's Doorstep... by Floyd McClung
Just to name a few.

Not quite "Christian," but if you want to read about someone interesting, try Mary Todd Lincoln. The last book I read about her was called simply "Mary." (I don't recall the author's name.) What a difference between her (and Abe) and the politicians of today! She actually seduced Abe to get him to marry her, and she was criticized for buying new dishes for the White House after the war. (Compare to.... ) After Abe was assassinated, Mary's son had her committed to a mental institution....for shopping too much! I never realized she was such an interesting character. Apparently the couple lost - as I recall - three sons; they didn't have a very easy life.

I've read somewhere she was into the occult, I think Tarot Cards? And I've also read she held Seances in the WH.
I agree, that couldn't have been easy for her losing her sons and then her husband. Especially having him assassinated like that right in front of her. I can't even imagine!

She got into seances after she lost the first of her sons; she was hoping to be able to talk to him. Poor lady had such a sad life.
