A Year-and-a-Half Out – NY Times Confirms Hunter Biden Laptop is Real

In October 2020, The New York Post dropped an “October surprise” on Biden’s presidential campaign and released emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop. The emails revealed Hunter Biden was doing business with foreign countries and acting as Joe Biden’s bagman as part of his international influence peddling scheme. The New York Post reported:
A comprehensive report about the ongoing federal probe into Hunter Biden’s tax filings published by the New York Times on Wednesday night confirmed the existence of the first son’s infamous laptop.
In October 2020, The Post exclusively reported on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop that he ditched at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019.
As part of their investigation into Hunter Biden, the Times reports, federal prosecutors have looked into emails between the first son and his former business associates that were recovered from the laptop.
Some of the scrutinized correspondence was between Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, who had served with the first son on the board of Ukraine energy company Burisma, the report said.
Archer, who was sentenced last month in an unrelated fraud case, has “cooperated completely” with the feds in their probe into Hunter Biden, The Post has reported.
According to the Times, the emails between Hunter Biden, Archer and others regarding their international business activity came from files the publication obtained that “appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop.”
People familiar with the emails and investigation confirmed their authenticity to the Times.
The New York Times also confirmed that Hunter Biden paid off a $1 million tax lien when he was reportedly unemployed and “flat broke.” link

“I Expect Him to be Indicted” – Lawyer For Hunter Biden’s Baby Mama Hands Over “Significant Amount of Hunter’s Financial Records” in Criminal Tax Probe

“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter Biden said in December 2020. “I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”
Hunter Biden’s ex-girlfriend Zoe Kestan and Lunden Roberts, the former stripper who had a baby with him, testified to a federal grand jury about Hunter’s spending habits. According to CNBC, Clint Lancaster, Lunden Roberts’ lawyer, handed over “a significant amount of Hunter’s financial records” to the feds under subpoena. “I expect him to be indicted,” Lancaster said based on what he saw after looking at Hunter Biden’s financial records. The Arkansas woman who had a child by Hunter Biden out of wedlock recently testified to a federal grand jury in Delaware as part of a criminal tax probe of the son of President Joe Biden, her lawyer confirmed Thursday.
Clint Lancaster, the attorney for the mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts, also told CNBC that he previously handed over “a significant amount of Hunter’s financial records” to federal investigators to comply with a subpoena for those files.
Lancaster said he and Roberts were interviewed by an assistant U.S. attorney, an FBI agent and an IRS agent — “one that carries a badge and gun” — more than a year ago about Biden in Little Rock, Ark., where Lancaster practices law.
“I expect him to be indicted,” the lawyer said about Biden. “Just based on what I saw in his financial records, I would be surprised if he’s not indicted.”
Despite that expectation, Lancaster said that both he and his client Roberts “don’t want Hunter to go to jail.”
“It’s not my goal, much to the unhappiness of many people in the Republican Party,” said Lancaster, a supporter of former President Donald Trump who in late 2020 worked on a legal challenge to results that showed Biden had won the state of Wisconsin that year.
Lancaster told CNBC the daughter Hunter Biden had outside of wedlock, Navy Roberts, looks “just like” Hunter. Joe and Jill Biden refuse to acknowledge their own granddaughter, Navy Joan Roberts. link

“Clearly, the origins of this whole smear are from the Kremlin, and the president [Donald Trump] is only too happy to have Kremlin help and try to amplify it.” Schiff doubled down in the same interview.
However, then-Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe disputed Schiff’s claim at the time, and his assessment was backed by the Department of Justice.

Though The Post exclusively revealed in September 2020 the existence of Hunter Biden’s laptop and the potentially compromising material contained there, the story was censored by social media companies at the behest of the Democratic Party. Mainstream media outlets — including The Times — attacked or ignored The Post revelations, while the Biden administration falsely suggested it was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. More than 50 intelligence agency officials publicly attempted to discredit the coverage saying it had “the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation” — and none offered any apology when contacted by The Post this week. Upstate Republican Rep. And Psaki once again refused to say if Hunter Biden actually divested from a Chinese investment fund controlled by state-owned entities. Psaki spent much of her regular briefing discussing President Biden’s Friday morning video call with Chinese President Xi Jinping regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine — but she brushed off The Post’s inquiries about how Biden is handling conflicts of interest in both nations. The presidential spokeswoman took three questions from The Post, first confirming that Biden will stay out of a Justice Department criminal investigation of his son after The New York Times reported this week that Hunter Biden remains under criminal investigation for possible tax fraud, money laundering and foreign lobbying violations. “Yes, it’s Department of Justice, and I would point you to them,” Psaki said when asked if “the president still intend to stay out of the case.”
In its report on the criminal investigation, The Times verified the authenticity of emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop, first reported in October 2020 by The Post, and said the first son recently paid the IRS about $1 million in back taxes in a bid to head off prosecution.
Psaki bristled at follow-up questions from The Post about conflicts of interest for the president in Russia and China.

BY ROBERT SPENCER MAR 19, 2022 1:58 PM ET The whole world knows now that Hunter Biden’s legendary laptop is real, and as Matt Margolis noted Friday, “all that’s left is anger — anger at how the media and Big Tech deliberately suppressed this damaging story about Hunter Biden to protect Joe Biden in the waning weeks of the presidential campaign.” Foremost among those protecting Old Joe were 51 senior American intelligence officials who on Oct. 19, 2020, published a statement asserting that “the arrival on the US political scene of emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s son Hunter, much of it related to his time serving on the Board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” It wasn’t. None of these alleged intel agents, however, have come clean and admitted that they lied and that Hunter’s laptop was genuine. Not a single one. The statement did contain this weaselly caveat: “We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement — just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.” Nonetheless, the intended effect was created: Politico dutifully ran a story entitled “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.” Jen Psaki tweeted those exact words. Old Joe Biden used the officials’ lie in a debate against Trump, saying: “There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant.… Five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except his good friend Rudy Giuliani.” The New York Post pointed out Friday that these 51 officials shouldn’t be the partisan hacks they obviously are; they “are the supposed nonpartisan group of top spies looking out for the best interest of the nation,” and that means we are in even worse trouble than most people realize. It’s clear now that their statement saying that the laptop was Russian disinformation was not the result of an actual analysis of its provenance and contents but was simply a manifestation of the fact that these agents “really were just desperate to get Joe Biden elected president.” Now that they’ve been shown up as the corrupt, self-serving officials they are, they’ve closed ranks and admitted nothing. The establishment media will, of course, give them a pass. The Post initially broke the Hunter laptop story, and now the Post has gone back to all of the signers of the statement now that their story has been definitively authenticated. The leading signer of the statement, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, took refuge in the weaselly paragraph of the original statement: “Yes, I stand by the statement made AT THE TIME, and would call attention to its 5th paragraph. I think sounding such a cautionary note AT THE TIME was appropriate.” The fifth paragraph was the one in which the officials said they didn’t know whether or not the emails were genuine. Hunter sat on the board of the Ukrainian energy company, making over $80,000 a month despite having no experience in energy. Joe Biden infamously threatened the Ukrainian leaders with withholding a billion-dollar loan from the Obama administration unless they fired Ukrainian Prosecutor General Shokin, who was investigating Burisma for corruption at the time, while Joe Biden was vice president. The Delaware computer repair shop owner who alerted the FBI to Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop before ultimately taking it to Rudy Giuliani says he’s faced harassment from Big Tech, the IRS and other government agencies ever since, and now faces bankruptcy. “I was getting a lot of death threats,” John Paul Mac Isaac said. “I had to have a Wilmington trooper parked in front of my shop all the time. “There were multiple situations where people came in and you could tell they were not there to have a computer fixed. Back in October 2020, The New York Post had carried myriad reports on the shady business dealings of Joe Biden and Hunter. The emails, text messages, and financial documents on the laptop proved that Biden, as vice president, used his influence to generate considerable profits for his family. The laptop also had photos of drug-addled Hunter in flagrante delicto with a prostitute and even messages of Hunter using the n-word. Following the NY Post reports, prominent personalities on MSNBC, NBC, The Washington Post, The Daily Beast, CNN, and The New York Times worked in unison to discredit the story. Politico claimed that anonymous intelligence officials had branded the news Russian disinformation. The Huff Post reported that more than 50 former intelligence officials had signed a letter to that effect. NPR, which is funded by U.S. tax dollars, claimed there were “red flags” in the Post’s story. Meanwhile, Big Tech swung into action with Twitter and Facebook heavily restricting Hunter Biden's laptop news, once again calling it (you guess right) Russian propaganda. March 20, 2022 The New York Times Signals the End of Biden's Road
By Clarice Feldman In October 2020, prior to the election, Hunter Biden’s laptop was left unclaimed at a repair shop and turned over to the FBI. Yaacov Apelbaum has covered at length the Biden family corruption, their crooked international dealings, pornographic images of Hunter and others, evidence of Hunter’s drug use, and the coverup of his and the Biden family’s corruption which he found on the laptop and elsewhere on the internet. (Warning, images in these reports are not for the faint-hearted.) The New York Post, without all these sordid details and photographs, reported the story in that same month before the election. But in the face of widespread denial, the story got little coverage. It is only now almost two years later, that the New York Times confirms that the Post’s reporting on the laptop was accurate. A comprehensive report about the ongoing federal probe into Hunter Biden’s tax filings published by the New York Times on Wednesday night confirmed the existence of the first son’s infamous laptop.
In October 2020, The Post exclusively reported on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop that he ditched at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019. The laptop’s hard drive contained a trove of emails, text messages, photos and financial documents between Hunter Biden, his family and business associates — detailing how the president’s son used his political leverage in his overseas business dealings. The repair shop owner reported the laptop to the FBI, which seized the device and its hard drive. As part of their investigation into Hunter Biden, the Times reports, federal prosecutors have looked into emails between the first son and his former business associates that were recovered from the laptop. Emma-Jo Morris the author of the Post report tweeted: “Just to clarify: the New York Times did not ‘confirm’ my reporting on the laptop from hell. They did not add any new information speaking to its authenticity. All they did was ADMIT that it was legit. That is not a minor distinction.” No, it isn’t minor. There was ample evidence the report was accurate, as Apelbaum’s reporting all that month demonstrated. It is hard to imagine how the Times justifies hiding from its readers news this important which clearly would have affected the election. Its refusal to cover this allowed Joe Biden to get away with brushing off the story without dealing with its serious evidence of incredible family corruption of every sort imaginable. Brush offs like this when a brave reporter asked about the laptop: Joe Biden looked away and laughed.
“God love ya man, you’re a one horse pony,” he told the reporter while walking away.
“I promise my Justice Department will be totally on its own making these judgments about how they should proceed,” he added.
