It Begins: County Council in Oxfordshire, England, Edges Toward Restrictions On Residents Travel “For the Planet”

COVID Passports were a dream come true for those trying to restrict the free travel of citizens.



And now, the County Council in Oxfordshire, England has another scheme ahead. It has approved plans to begin ‘trial’ climate restrictions using traffic filter permits to restrict the amount of driving area residents can do.

Oxfordshire County Council yesterday approved plans to lock residents into one of six zones to ‘save the planet’ from global warming. The latest stage in the ’15 minute city’ agenda is to place electronic gates on key roads in and out of the city, confining residents to their own neighbourhoods.



Under the new scheme if residents want to leave their zone they will need permission from the Council who gets to decide who is worthy of freedom and who isn’t. Under the new scheme residents will be allowed to leave their zone a maximum of 100 days per year, but in order to even gain this every resident will have to register their car details with the council who will then track their movements via smart cameras round the city.



The story garnered international press and the Council was forced to clarify the scheme.

A spokesperson for the council told OxfordshireLive that the information was taken from a recent council decision to green light traffic filters in the city. The filters will ban private vehicles from six areas of the city at certain times and are set be introduced following the completion of rail bridge works on Botley Road in 2023.



Contrary to the viral article’s claims, there will be no “physical barriers”, with the restricted zones monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition Cameras (ANPRs). They are set to be placed on St Cross Road, Thames Street and Hythe Bridge Street in the city centre and on St Clements, Marston Ferry Road and Hollow Way.



Up to 100 day passes per year will be offered to residents and businesses affected by the changes, enabling them to travel through the filters without penalty. A spokesperson for the council explained: “Traffic filters have been part of Oxford’s Transport Strategy since 2015, and are a key tool to reduce traffic congestion in Oxford. Traffic filters are not designed to stop people from driving private vehicles.



“Everywhere in the city will still be accessible by car, although some private car drivers may need to use a different route during the operating hours of the traffic filters. Vehicles going through the traffic filters will be monitored by automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras, not by electronic gates or any other physical barriers.



“When they are operating, private cars will not be allowed through without a permit. All other vehicles including buses, coaches, taxis, vans, mopeds, motorbikes and HGVs will be allowed at all times.”



The Council’s remarks suggest residents should feel relieved by their clarification, but the requirements do no such thing.



The traffic filter permit, while not the physical lockdowns as reported by some outlets, require residents in Oxford, and some surrounding areas, to apply for a permit to allow them to drive through the traffic filters for up to 100 days per year with each household allowed a maximum of three permits.



Those residing in the remaining parts of the county can apply for a permit allowing them through the filters 25 times a year.



Unlimited permits will be available for a segment of residents including health workers, care workers and those needing regular medical treatment.


The trial period is scheduled to last for 6 months with a review following implementation.

(Natural News) In order to “save the planet” from “global warming” and “climate change,” the county of Oxfordshire in the United Kingdom is imposing climate lockdowns to keep residents from moving about and “polluting” the environment with their existence.



The Oxfordshire County Council recently approved plans to lock residents into one of six zones throughout the county. Residents will need a special permit to travel from one “zone” to another – and even with a permit they will only be allowed to travel “a maximum of 100 days per year.”



All part of a so-called “15 minute city” agenda being pushed by Oxfordshire officials, these climate lockdowns will involve the use of electronic gates on key roads in and out of the city. Residents will have to present the proper credentials to get the gates to open, otherwise they will remain restricted to their homes and immediate neighborhoods.

It remains to be seen if Oxfordshire residents roll over and comply with the new plan, or if they rise up and revolt against it. We hope for their sake that they do the latter – and that they do it soon to deter the globalists from even attempting this same type of thing elsewhere.

France is similarly imposing climate lockdowns but in a different way. The government there recently banned certain short-haul flights to supposedly help curb “climate emissions” – this while the globalists gallivant around the world in their private, gas-guzzling luxury jets and yachts.



The European Commission (EC) was behind that decision, seeing as how France is a ground-zero testing ground for all things globalism in Europe – and the UK is not that far behind, truth be told.



“The plan was first proposed in 2021 as a means to reduce carbon emissions,” reports explain.



“It originally called for a ban on eight short-haul flights, but the EC has only agreed to nix three that have quick, easy rail alternatives with several direct connections each way every day.”



Then we have The Netherlands, which is trying to shut down thousands of private farms in order to reduce “nitrogen pollution.” This is another tactic of the “green” cult and its climate lockdown endeavors.

(Natural News) As many as 200 far-left “eco-extremists” terrorized a cement plant in France this week in protest of its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.



Lafarge in Bouc-Bel-Air, a small community located just north of the city of Marseille, says significant damage occurred to both its facilities and vehicles after the eco-mob swarmed the premises, smashing offices and workshops, burning construction machinery, and cutting electrical cables.



A far-left French website took credit for the “unprecedented violence,” as Lafarge called it in a statement, claiming it to be an appropriate response to one of the “biggest polluters and producers of CO2 in the country.”



“Here in Bouc-Bel-Air, the ovens that have been targeted, long fed by industrial waste and tires, are now the symbol of greenwashing,” the extremists added about their work.



“Air pollution is considerable and has been repeatedly denounced by all the press and local residents. However, chimneys still spew their venom.”



The group further accused Lafarge “and its accomplices” of ignoring the cries and “anger of the generations” as the company continues to leave area residents “without a future in a world ravaged by their misdeeds.”



“Their machines, silos and mixers are weapons that kill us,” the group added in hysteria. “They will not cease without being forced to do so.” (Related: Other French businesses are being forced to shut down due to insufficient energy supplies caused by Western sanctions against Russia.)

Eco-terrorists promise to “dismantle” industrial infrastructure to save the planet from CO2

Producing concrete, the extremist group claims, is destroying the planet because it releases CO2, which plants “inhale” and use to grow and thrive and turn the world green.



Far-left extremists hate CO2, even though it is a building block of all life. They say it is a “pollutant” that must be eradicated in order to stop global warming and climate change.



“So we will continue to dismantle this infrastructure from the disaster ourselves,” the eco-terrorists further said. “We call on all those who rise up for the earth to occupy, block and disarm the concrete.”



France has seen a spate of eco-terrorist attacks like this one in recent months. Earlier this year, an electrical line was sabotaged, leaving about 5,500 customers without power. French prosecutors in Grenoble reportedly identified those involved.



“It is not to protest against 5G in particular but in a broader context, fighting against the techno-world,” those who claimed credit for the attack said in a statement.



“We want to salute all the arsonists who are acting in the shadows at the moment and repeatedly beating this technological hell.”



French police have also been assaulted by eco-terrorists, including in Saint-Soline back in October. Some 4,000 extremists attacked law enforcement officers there, injuring 61 of them, “22 of them seriously,” to quote French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin.



“This figure shows that it was not a peaceful demonstration but a very violent rally,” Darmanin added, later accusing those who participated in the melee as being guilty of “eco-terrorism.”



In the comments, someone joked that the world is becoming so “green” that “we’ll soon be grazing beside the cattle and eating grass,” which is what the globalists seem to want.



“Except for the ‘elites,’ of course, who will be flying to Switzerland in their private jets for an international conference about how to re-shape the wheel,” this person added.



“Not really,” responded another. “Their plan is to get rid of the cows since they pass gas and pollute the air. We’ll just be eating bugs and we’ll like it.”

More British Cities to Ban Privately-Owned Vehicles to Go Certain Areas without Permit to Reduce Traffic and “Help Tackle Climate Change”

The Gateway Pundit reported on plans approved by the County Council in Oxfordshire, England to begin ‘trial’ climate restrictions using traffic filter permits to restrict the amount of driving area residents can do.



The new traffic reduction scheme called “traffic filters” to help reduce traffic congestion, enhance pedestrian safety, and help address climate change, according to Truth About Cars.



However, the idea includes dividing Oxford into six zones in which residents cannot drive to certain areas without the right documentation.



If this plan moves through, a barrier will separate the six zones of Oxford and limit the freedom of its residents. Seven days a week, 12 hours a day, between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm, or face a £70 ($85) fine.


The target plan will be in the summer of 2023.





What are the traffic filters?



According to Oxfordshire’s government website, “When they are operating, private cars will not be allowed through the traffic filters without a permit. All other vehicles including buses, coaches, taxis, vans, mopeds, motorbikes and HGVs will be allowed at all times. Residents in Oxford and some areas just outside the city will be able to apply for a permit allowing them to drive through the traffic filters for up to 100 days per year. Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will monitor the traffic filters.”



Therefore, presuming you were able to get approved in the first place, driving your own car to and from work every day will guarantee that you will use more than the permitted allotment.



How traffic filters work?



“Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will be installed to monitor vehicles going through the traffic filters. Traffic signs will identify the location of each traffic filter, including operational hours and vehicles that are exempt to travel through. Any vehicle that goes through the traffic filter and is not exempt, will be charged a penalty of £70.”



As expected, many locals strongly disapprove of the plan. Many people called this Orwellian traffic scheme a “climate lockdown” and likened it to the Berlin Wall and the COVID lockdown.



“Welcome to Oxfordshire Open Prison because this is what is being delivered,” one angry resident attended a council meeting. “I used to work for prison service, so I know how open prisons work.”



“These districts and these filters and gates and signs that are being forced on to the people of Oxfordshire without their democratic consent,” she continued.

Remember when people were called ”conspiracy theorists” for warning that climate lockdowns would be the next step?



Well, just have a look at this new extremely draconian rule in Britain that sounds like something straight out of 1984.


They will monitor you.



All residents will be forced to register their car with the council. Number plate recognition cameras set up in the city will MONITOR how many times you leave your zone.



In fact, private cars will be banned altogether from crossing between the zones unless you buy a permit which will allow you a maximum of 100 crossings per year! Oh, how generous.



Those without a permit or if you drive between the zones after having reached your limit of 100 crossings, you will be fined £70 per crossing.


This is all being done in the name of climate change, aiming to stop people to take ”unnecessary” journeys and force people to walk or take the bus instead.



These climate zones will turn Oxford into a ”15-minute city”, with the plan being to force people to walk in order to access local shops and services.



Did you see that, the ”15-minute city” thing? I am going to let you guess where that idea comes from…

Canterbury’s Council Bosses have drawn up a radical plan to tackle congestion that will split the city into five zones and ban residents from driving directly between them.



During the Middle Ages, Canterbury, a cathedral city in southeast England, was a pilgrimage site. With cobbled streets and timber-framed houses, ancient Roman walls encircle its medieval center. It has a population of 43432.



In Canterbury’s ‘Local Plan to 2045’, the council proposes splitting the city into five districts, with drivers unable to cross between districts by private car – even if they live there.

Within the document is the idea of 15 minute neighborhoods: For example – “Community infrastructure provided as part of upcoming developments should be accessible to new and existing residents – preferably within 15 minutes walking time and always within 15 minutes.” – They say this is about ’living locally’.



Those who break the rules will face fines (possibly the same as Oxford’s £70) enforced by number-plate recognition cameras and won’t be able to make simple journeys around the city. According to Page 14 of the draft Canterbury District Local Plan to 2045 – there will be “Implementation of an ANPR-based sectoring system and modal filters to limit cross-city trips.”



They will instead have to drive out of their ‘neighbourhood’ and onto a new bypass – essentially a much larger outer ring-road – before re-entering their chosen zone. Short, direct journeys across the city – like to supermarkets, retail parks or GP surgeries – will be banned to encourage residents to walk, cycle or use public transportation.

World’s largest carbon tax scheme just imposed by EU; more inflation and less trade to follow

(Natural News) New climate rules imposed by the European Parliament to fight “carbon leakage” threaten to further impoverish the Third World by charging the world’s poorest countries extra carbon taxes for their exports.



The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, or CBAM, as it is called, creates a new system of carbon tax “equalization” for European Union products operating within the Emissions Trading System (ETS) framework governing imported goods.



Companies that import into the EU will now be required to purchase so-called CBAM “certificates” to pay the difference between the carbon price paid in the country of production and the price of carbon allowances within the EU’s ETS.



“CBAM will cover iron and steel, cement, aluminum, fertilizers and electricity, as proposed by the Commission, and extended to hydrogen, indirect emissions under certain conditions, certain precursors as well as to some downstream products such as screws and bolts and similar articles of iron or steel,” reports explain.



“Before the end of the transition period, the Commission shall assess whether to extend the scope to other goods at risk of carbon leakage, including organic chemicals and polymers, with the goal to include all goods covered by the ETS by 2030.” (Related: The globalists’ goal is to completely deindustrialize [depopulate] Europe by 2050 in order to reach “carbon zero”.)



CBAM also disadvantages U.S. small businesses and manufactures that are also bound by Clean Air Act regulations

CBAM, by the way, is part of the EU’s “Fit for 55 in 2030 package,” which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the bloc by at least 55 percent by 2030 in alignment with the European Climate Law.

The result of these changes will be less global trade for one. And the result of this will be even more inflation, which is the last thing the world needs right now amid the ongoing economic crisis.



Faten Aggad, a senior adviser at the African Climate Foundation (ACF), tweeted that the African countries most exposed to this new EU scheme “are both middle-income and low-income countries.”



She added that Mozambique, which accounts for 7 percent of all EU aluminum imports, but for which EU exports amount to 25 percent of its export earnings, “may lose up to 1% of its GDP,” according to the Center for Global Development (CGD).



“#Egypt and #Algeri, which respectively represent 21 and 20% of EU fertiliser imports will also be hard hit,” Aggad further explained in another tweet.



“Algeria (6% of total EU imports), Morocco (5%) and Tunisia (3%) also export cement. South Africa will also be heavily impacted. Nigeria, Cameroon, the Congo and Ghana too.”



It is unclear if the poorest developing countries will be given any kind of waivers or exemptions from the scheme, but Aggad suspects that they will not because the EU already suggested that doing this would be incompatible with World Trade Organization (WTO) guidelines.



This is “questionable considering that similar waivers were previously secured,” Aggad said. “They also argued that a waiver would encourage the relocation of dirty industry to Africa.”



“Questionable too (due to studies as mentioned above) but arguably that will depend on policies put in countries that prevent that too (with the right incentive this can be overcome).”



The United States also faces major economic disadvantages from CBAM in its current form. Domestic small businesses and manufacturers are already bound by Clean Air Act regulatory restrictions that are not taken into account in the CBAM scheme.



“The EU’s proposal doesn’t credit the cost of domestic regulation when the border tax is applied,” reported The Wall Street Journal. “The failure to recognize the implicit costs of U.S. regulation would inevitably lead to double emission taxation on exporters.”

New York Governor Kathy Hochul updated the public on the winter storm on Sunday, attributing its severity to global warming.



“Last night, I had to bring in the National Guard. The conditions, the blinding snow, the zero visibility, absolute whiteouts.” It may go down as one of the worst in history,” Governor Hochul said during a press conference Sunday.



“We broke that record again a month ago, so it’s very clear to me that the effects of climate change are wreaking havoc everywhere,” she added.

Public School ‘Climate’ Curriculum: ‘Emotions’ Should Outweigh ‘Rational Thinking’

The new public school “climate” curriculum for Washington state instructs teachers to focus on “emotions” rather than “rational thinking,” lesson plans show.



The new “woke” lesson plans were revealed in a five-part curriculum plan released by The Washington state Department of Health.



The health department claims the new curriculum aims to help students learn the “intersections of biological, societal, and environmental issues.”



In the second phase of the curriculum, “Climate Change & Pregnancy,” educators and students are told to “pay attention” to their emotions.



“For too long” science has caused “rational thinking” to be prioritized, the health department laments.



“As teachers and students consider the impacts of climate change, we should be mindful of the emotional dimensions of the human experience,” the curriculum stated.



“For too long, science and science education have prioritized my rational thinking.



“As we delve more deeply into the impacts of climate change using the [Washington Tracking Network] data and the practices of the Next Generation Science Standards, we must learn to pay attention to our own emotions and those of other people.”



The curriculum notes that emotions “signal alignment or discord between cultural values and technical assertions” and that failing to acknowledge emotions reflects “arrogance.”



Ignoring emotions can also “weaken important relationships for getting things done,” the climate change curriculum noted.


The curriculum continues by asking students to consider “sexism in science” which includes “subtle discussion dynamics” and “abuse of power.”



Students are asked to raise their hand if they have experienced any sexism such as “eye-rolling and jokes” or someone being “unwilling to learn about issues important to women.”

Radical climate activists attempted to hijack a live televised Christmas service in the hopes of preaching their green agenda, but were foiled after the police intercepted their plans.



Members of the Last Generation radical climate action group attempted to hijack a televised Christmas service in Germany on Saturday afternoon, seemingly in the hopes of commandeering the religious ceremony to spread their own green ideology on live television.



The green activism group, which has repeatedly been accused of being an extremist organisation and has even had members’ houses raided by the security police in recent weeks, has plagued Germany with disruptive protests and stunts all year.



According to a press release by police in Stuttgart, a number of climate activists converged on the protestant Resurrection Church in Möhringen yesterday afternoon, in the hopes of disrupting a planned televised service which was due to take place there.



However, in a rather amusing twist, news that the Last Generation was planning to disrupt the service was seemingly obtained by authorities beforehand, and, as such, the planned live service was actually pre-recorded in the venue the day before.



As a result, when eight members of the radical group arrived at the church on Saturday, they found the church closed.



Those within the parish are then said to have called the local police, who located and dealt with two “potential troublemakers” in the group.

While the police were reportedly able to foil the plans of the radical climate activist group this time around, much of the time, those within the Last Generation are successful in causing chaos for the sake of their green ideology.



For example, only earlier this week, two activists from the group were able to “decapitate” a famous Christmas tree in Berlin using a saw and a mobile hydraulic platform.



“We have only seen the tip of the underlying catastrophe in Germany so far,” one activist reportedly declared after the aggressive trimming of the 15-meter-high Nordmann fir on Pariser Platz, near Berlin’s famous Brandenburg Gate.



The action came only a short while after police nationwide conducted a number of raids against climate activists who had been disrupting the country non-stop throughout the year, with one public prosecutor accusing activists of “forming and supporting criminal organizations”.



In response, green activists in the country lambasted the raids as an attempt at “intimidation” by the government, with an official outlet for the organisation declaring that the group would continue its activities “unchanged” despite the state intervention.

What Could Go Wrong? Startup Releases Particles into The Atmosphere to Stop “Climate Change”

The global warming hysteria has now reached such absurd heights that a startup company will now attempt to control the weather via solar geoengineering. Unsurprisingly, such a move could have deadly unintended consequences if widely adopted.



MIT Technology Review reported Saturday that a company called Make Sunsets has successfully launched weather balloons from Mexico that may have released sulfur particles into the atmosphere. Luke Iseman, the co-founder and CEO, claims that because climate change presents such an imminent threat, bizarre interventions like theirs are necessary:



“It’s morally wrong, in my opinion, for us not to be doing this,” said Iseman. “What’s important is to do this as quickly and safely as we can.”



Disturbingly, Make Sunsets made this attempt at solar geoengineering without informing the public or even attempting to engage scientists. Experts who spoke to MIT Technology Review uniformly condemned the move:


“The current state of science is not good enough … to either reject, or to accept, let alone implement” solar geoengineering, wrote Janos Pasztor, executive director of the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative, in an email. The initiative is calling for oversight of geoengineering and other climate-altering technologies, whether by governments, international accords, or scientific bodies.”

Sure they will. Nothing provides a better incentive for individuals to act appropriately than money with no strings attached. Just look at our wonderful government and your average casino gambler.



The dangers of solar engineering are profound. One study shows that this type of engineering could threaten wildlife. Implementing and failing to sustain this technology would leave species around the world unable to cope with the changing conditions, causing mass extinction.



Solar engineering could also lead to mass starvation on a global scale. According to the website DowntoEarth, releasing sulfur particles into the atmosphere above the Arctic, for example, would have catastrophic consequences. This would disrupt the monsoons in Asia and increase droughts, particularly in Africa, endangering both food and water sources for two billion people.



But who cares about a few billion human and animal deaths as long as the earth cools a bit and radical climate scam artists cash in? Government around the world including here in America better act to ban this dangerous activity before it catches on.

Great Reset: Individual CO2 Limits Needed to Fight Climate Change, Says German Scientist

An individual carbon dioxide limit should be applied to every person in order to establish a “planetary guardrail” in the effort to combat allegedly man-made climate change, a leading German scientist has argued.



Hans Joachim Schellnhuber from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) said this week that every person should have a limit of three tonnes of C02 emissions per year and those who exceed their limit should be forced to pay for the pleasure.



In comments reported by Taagesschau, Schellnhuber said that there were are two competing property rights issues at hand, namely the right to spend one’s money on high emissions activities and the rights of the rest of the population to “have an environment worth living [in]”.



In a carbon credit style scheme, those who emit over the three-tonne limit by the middle of the century would need to privately purchase credits from those who are under the limit, he suggested: “Every person gets three tons of CO2 per year, but if you need more, you just have to buy it.”



At present, according to the news outlet, the average German is far above Schellnhuber’s proposed limit, as ten tonnes of C02 emissions are produced by the average citizen. Citing the Paris World Inequality lab, there are some millionaires within the country that produce over 100 tonnes of CO2 per year, and some thousands of elites worldwide emit over 2,000 tonnes per year.



Aside from not spelling out how he expects people to drastically reduce their carbon emissions, the German scientist did not elaborate on how exactly this will be tracked and monitored.





However, at last year’s World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, Alibaba Group President J. Michael Evans said that the Chinese tech giant is currently developing a digital “individual carbon footprint tracker” to monitor the emissions of the public.



“We are developing through technology the ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint… where are they travelling, how are they travelling, what are they eating, what are they consuming on the platform,” the former Goldman Sachs banker explained.



Ironically, given that the annual meeting — which will convene again next week — sees thousands of private jets descend upon the Swiss ski retreat, Evans went on to say that the tracker would ensure that people are “incentivised to do the right thing even if they were provided the opportunity to do the wrong thing.”



Following the release of a report this week on the future of the British Conservative (Tory) government’s net zero agenda, which called for the banning of new gas boiler sales within ten years, Brexit leader Nigel Farage said that the green movement will only serve to make the citizens of the West poorer while enriching the likes of Communist China



“We are engaged in an act of self harm,” the Brexiteer said. “It will not bring us economic benefits, it will make everybody a whole lot poorer and yet the lemmings in Parliament are all taking us toward the economic cliff.”

Former Vice President Al Gore said that “greenhouse gas pollution” was “boiling the oceans,” causing “rain bombs,” and creating “climate refugees” during remarks at a World Economic Forum (WEF) event in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday.



Gore joined a panel discussion ostensibly examining what the WEF and the White House regularly describe as a “climate crisis” driven by consumption of fossil fuels. One of the panel’s hosts framed it as a “planetary crisis” driving “mass extinction” while “really putting humanity’s future at risk.”




Gore claimed:



We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas pollution into the atmosphere] every single day, and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the Earth.



That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees, predicted to reach one billion in this century.



Look at the xenophobia and political authoritarian trends that have come from just a few million refugees. What about a billion? We would lose our capacity for self-governance on this world. We have to act.




Gore said the Inflation Reduction Act is “primarily a climate act” given the legislation’s appropriation of $369 billion — not including tax credits — for “renewable energy.”



“Renewable energy … is now cheapest source of electricity in almost the entire planet,” he added.



“Pro-climate legislation” is needed at all levels of governance to “save the future,” Gore concluded.

Researchers Claim Coffee Is Contributing To Climate Change

Researchers from Canada are currently analyzing coffee’s “contribution to climate change”.



The new analysis was published by researchers from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi in a piece titled “Here’s how your cup of coffee contributes to climate change”



In their analysis researchers concluded “Limiting your contribution to climate change requires an adapted diet, and coffee is no exception. Choosing a mode of coffee preparation that emits less GHGs (greenhouse gases) and moderating your consumption are part of the solution.”

(Natural News) The most pressing issue of the day is “the ethical and medical urgency of the climate crisis,” according to The Lancet.



The once-respected medical journal, which is based out of the United Kingdom, has declared global warming to be the “biggest global health threat of the 21st century.” Its editorial board is also celebrating “health-care professionals participating in Extinction Rebellion action [who] blocked the entrance to the U.K.’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy to protest about impotent responses to climate change.”



Health care, The Lancet said, is “part of the climate problem” because “the global health-care industry emitted two gigatons of carbon dioxide (CO2), or 4.4 percent of the world’s total” in 2014. This, we are told, demands immediate action in the form of aggressive climate activism within the medical community.



This is the same The Lancet that recently proclaimed “medical racism” in the United States to be another pressing issue that can only be solved by dismantling the “structural violence” that allegedly persists across the nation. Concerning climate change, The Lancet pointed to operating rooms “overflowing with trash generated by disposable sterile supplies and surgical equipment,” as well as “parking areas filled with private transportation reliant on fossil fuels, and constant energy flow to digital monitors and other technologies.”



Interestingly, the journal also identified pharmaceuticals as a climate issue as well since most of them are made from so-called “fossil fuels,” which are really just God-given earth fuels that exist in abundance beneath the surface of the planet.



What The Lancet is concerned about is not so much these fuels themselves but the “carbon” they produce. The climate cult, as you probably know, is obsessed with carbon and believes it to be something “evil,” even though all life is made from carbon.



One way The Lancet suggests to combat all this carbon is for doctors to stop participating in free drug samples programs, which will “help reduce medication overuse and reduce the carbon impact when samples go unused.”



Another idea presented by The Lancet is for doctors to stop starting patients on 30-day drug courses and instead try a one-week supply approach, “even at the cost of some convenience to the doctor and patient.”



It sounds silly – and it is – but this is what has become of the journal, which in days of old was widely considered to be the gold standard of medical science. The Lancet has clearly been infiltrated and taken over by climate lunatics, just like governments, academia and even Wall Street have.



Hilariously, The Lancet also wants doctors to start engaging in a “green informed consent” program that “incorporates education about the climate impact of pharmaceuticals and climate change health hazards.”



Patients are to be indoctrinated with climate propaganda every time they see their doctor or get a prescription, in other words. This will give patients the ability to “choose to decline a medication, or they might choose to accept the medication and pursue carbon offsets.”



All in all, The Lancet wants doctors everywhere to become “climate activists in their daily clinical practice” – yes, this is a direct quote from the journal.



“Health care professionals have an important part to play in reducing the carbon emissions of health care by dispensing only needed medications and by helping to ensure that those are used to their fullest potential,” the journal said.

Here We Go: Researchers Warn of Dangerous Fungal Illness Rapidly Spreading Across Country ‘Due to Climate Change’ (VIDEO)

Medical professionals are warning the public about a dangerous fungal infection that is rapidly spreading across the country, particularly in the states of California and Arizona.



There has been an increase in reported cases of rare Valley fever, and climate change may be to blame, according to doctors.



Valley fever (also called coccidioidomycosis or “cocci”) is a disease caused by a fungus that grows in the soil and dirt in some areas of California and the southwestern United States, according to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).



“People and animals can get sick when they breathe in dust that contains the Valley fever fungus. This fungus usually infects the lungs and can cause respiratory symptoms including cough, fever, chest pain, and tiredness,” the agency added.


“This is a fungus,” said Perkins, a former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) official. “Most causes of pneumonia are caused by bacteria. This is a fungus that lives in the soil and is breathed in dusty situations, whether it’s a dust storm or around construction or excavation.”

A total of 20,003 cases of Valley fever were reported in 2019, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. People from Arizona and California accounted for the vast majority of these cases. Valley fever is more common in those over the age of 60.



According to doctors, the symptoms of Valley fever are often similar to those of COVID-19.



“Some [people] may have a fever, chills or fatigue, or just feel generally unwell,” Thompson of UC Davis Health said.



Symptoms of Valley fever include:



Fatigue (tiredness)

Cough

Fever

Shortness of breath

Headache

Night sweats

Muscle aches or joint pain

Rash on upper body or legs

In 2019, a study by Morgan Gorris — which was published in GeoHealth, a journal focused on environmental and health sciences research — suggested that climate change could trigger an expansion of Valley fever into northwestern states, including Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota.



“At first, I was skeptical,” said Dr. Thompson of California. “But I’ve recently heard about new cases emerging in Nebraska and even Missouri, so I think it’s in the realm of possibility.”



Valley fever cases are expected to arrive in northern Utah and eastern Colorado by 2035, according to the study. Gorris, the study’s author, also predicts that the disease will become endemic in Nebraska, southeastern Montana, southern Idaho and South Dakota by 2065, and that it could arrive in northern Montana and North Dakota by 2095.



Purdie, for his part, believes that Valley fever could become more widespread amid changing climate patterns and population growth.



“Valley fever likes undisturbed soil — so as people continue to populate more arid, dry and less developed areas, there will likely be more interaction with it,” he said.



Doctors and patients await a vaccine

While there is not yet a vaccine for Valley fever, Dr. Thompson is optimistic about progress toward that goal. He pointed to three vaccines currently in development, including one that has been successfully tested with dogs.

George Soros wants humans to take control of Earth’s atmosphere to halt “climate change.”

According to Fox News, Soros spoke to the Munich Security Conference Thursday and boasted that he had discovered a process where white clouds are created to reflect sunlight away from warming areas to prevent ice sheets from melting. Ice sheets melting in Greenland in particular, he claimed, could doom human civilization.



“Our civilization is in danger of collapsing because of the inexorable advance of climate change,” Soros said.


“The melting of the Greenland ice sheet would increase the level of the oceans by seven meters. That poses a threat to the survival of our civilization,” he continued. “I wasn’t willing to accept that fate, so I tried to find out whether anything could be done to avoid it.



“I was directed to Sir David King, a climate scientist who had been chief scientific advisor to previous British governments.”



“Sir David King has a plan to repair the climate system. He wants to recreate the albedo effect by creating white clouds high above the earth,” he added. “With proper scientific safeguards and in consultation with local indigenous communities, this project could help restabilize the Arctic climate system which governs the entire global climate system.”



“Unless we change the way, we deal with climate change, our civilization will be thoroughly disrupted by rising temperatures that will make large parts of the world practically unlivable.”



The “plan” Soros and King are advocating for is called solar geoengineering. This idea will not save civilization but does have the potential to destroy it.



As the Gateway Pundit has previously reported, the perils of solar geoengineering are profound. One study shows that this type of engineering could endanger wildlife. Implementing and failing to sustain this technology would leave species around the world unable to cope with the changing conditions, causing mass extinction.



Solar geoengineering could also lead to global starvation. According to the website DowntoEarth, releasing man-made clouds into the atmosphere above the Arctic as Soros proposes would have catastrophic consequences. Greens (and Reds) Don’t Like Cars, Period



Late last month, Joe Biden was mocked for posting a photo of himself in an electric vehicle (a GMC Hummer) that costs $110,000 and up. And for touting a $7,500 federal tax credit that doesn’t apply to vehicles that cost over $80,000. In other words, the 46th president was ripped for confirming the stereotype that electric cars are a vanity passion for rich green liberals.



But what was less noticed, at least by the right, was that left-wing greens didn’t like Biden’s photo-op, either. You see, Middle Class Joe insists that he wants to replace internal-combustion vehicles with electric vehicles (EV), but the hardcore greens–including those within his own administration–want to get rid of cars, period. At certain times, as when he is trying to appeal to the far left during his campaign for the 2020 Democratic nomination, Biden has said that he wants to get “millions of vehicles off the road.” But that was then: Now Biden, eyeing his re-election campaign, wants to play the champion of Main Street, where they have cars, not the New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Still, history shows that when green activists draw a bead on something, they often hit their target. That’s been the whole story of the green movement this past half-century, as it has shifted the Democratic Party from its New Deal blue-collar orientation to its current affluent-suburban affectation.



One of the greens’ key concerns about EVs is lithium. As we shall see, they can’t live without it, but they also can’t live with it.



The World Economic Forum (WEF, think Klaus Schwab and Davos) relates that each EV battery needs about 18 lbs of lithium. And since WEF calculates that two billion EVs will have to be on the road by 2050 to meet its Great Reset climate targets, that’s a lot of lithium. And of course, all the lithium a Great Resetted world needs won’t just go into car batteries; the element is needed for wide variety of industrial and ecological uses.



But lithium production is currently only about 100,000 tons annually, so WEF’s projections show that the needed ramp-up in lithium production will have to be, well, exponential. For their part, greens don’t like to hear about the exponential growth of anything economic.



A particular flashpoint has been the effort to start up a lithium mine in Thacker Pass, Nevada, near the Oregon border. That proposed $3 billion venture has been met by pushback from a coalition of greens, Native Americans, and NIMBYs. Needless to say, that was all the signal the Main Stream Media needed to choose a side. NBC News headlined last year: “The cost of green energy: The nation’s biggest lithium mine may be going up on a site sacred to Native Americans.” And The New York Times added some more green liberal perspective:



The fight over the Nevada mine is emblematic of a fundamental tension surfacing around the world: Electric cars and renewable energy may not be as green as they appear. Production of raw materials like lithium, cobalt and nickel that are essential to these technologies are often ruinous to land, water, wildlife and people.



For its part, the Biden administration, mindful of its environmentalist base as well as its EV goals, has tried to avoid taking sides on the fight. Just on February 7, a federal judge ordered a further review of the project, so its future is unclear.

(Natural News) During a speech in Germany this week, billionaire leftist mega-donor George Soros called for the use of weather modification, also known as geoengineering and chemtrails, to help save the world from global warming and climate change.



Soros, who has directed millions of dollars to various climate fanaticism groups via his non-profit Open Society Foundation, claims to have discovered a way to create artificial white clouds to reflect sunlight away from the earth and back out into space. Doing this, he says, will help cool the planet and prevent polar ice sheets from melting.



Should the world ignore his weather modification advice, Soros says the ice sheets that comprise Greenland will melt and create doom for the entirety of human civilization.

Soros wants you to never see natural sunlight again – for the planet

Sir David King, in case you are unfamiliar with him, used to be the chief scientific adviser for the United Kingdom’s special envoy on climate change. He founded the Centre for Climate Repair at University of Cambridge in 2019 to study how to “refreeze” the arctic, as well as mitigate carbon emissions.



Refreezing the arctic is a hypothetical proposition that, like Soros explained, utilizes fake white clouds to reflect natural sunlight away from the earth. This would prevent it from reaching plants and humans, both of which rely on sunlight for life and longevity.



“[King] has developed a theory which is widely shared by climate scientists,” Soros explained. “It holds that the global climate system used to be stable but human intervention disrupted it. The Arctic Circle used to be sealed off from the rest of the world by winds that blew in a predictable, circular, counter-clockwise direction, but man-made climate change broke this isolation.”



“Sir David King has a plan to repair the climate system. He wants to recreate the albedo effect by creating white clouds high above the earth. With proper scientific safeguards and in consultation with local indigenous communities, this project could help restabilize the Arctic climate system which governs the entire global climate system.”



To allow the sun to continue shining as normal is to destroy “a previously stable system,” according to Soros, who wants to see “human ingenuity, both local and international” create ways of blocking the sun in order to “restore” the stable system that Soros claims previously existed.



“Unless we change the way we deal with climate change, our civilization will be thoroughly disrupted by rising temperatures that will make large parts of the world practically unlivable,” Soros claims.



During his speech, Soros also showed a video narrated by King that explains the “importance of repairing global ecosystems,” which he says are being harmed by carbon dioxide (CO2) and other natural molecules.



Last year, dozens of scientists wrote an open letter calling on governments everywhere to prohibit the type of technology that King and Soros are pushing to have implemented as the “solution” to global warming.



“The risks of solar geoengineering are poorly understood and can never be fully known,” the letter reads. “Impacts will vary across regions, and there are uncertainties about the effects on weather patterns, agriculture, and the provision of basic needs of food and water.”

WEF: Lockdowns Prove ‘Billions’ Will Comply with Climate ‘Restrictions’

Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) has declared that COVID-19 pandemic-related lockdowns have proved that “billions of citizens across the world” would comply with global restrictions on freedoms for the sake of “climate change.”



In an article published by the WEF, the organization lauds how “billions” of people complied with Covid “restrictions,” arguing that they would do the same under the guise of reducing carbon emissions.



Titled “My Carbon: An approach for inclusive and sustainable cities,” the article suggests that the same fear tactics could be used to impose further “restrictions” on the general public.



The subject of the piece is how to convince people to adopt “personal carbon allowance programs.”



The WEF laments that such schemes have so far been largely unsuccessful.



However, Schwab’s group notes that improvements in tracking and surveillance technology are helping to overcome “political resistance” against such programs.



“COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility,” the article notes.



It continues by commending how “a huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world.”



“There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility,” the WEF adds.


The organization goes on to cite how so many people complied with lockdown mandates, despite overwhelming evidence of the harmful consequences such restrictions had on society.



The WEF then implies that the public would behave in a similarly obsequious manner in other areas of life.



Such conformity would be encouraged via technology, including artificial intelligence, digitization, and “smart home” devices, argues the group.



The article goes on to call for a social-credit style carbon emissions rationing scheme.



Such a scheme would provide “individual advisories on lower carbon and ethical choices for consumption of product and services,” the WEF suggests.



New social norms would also be created to define what “a fair share” of personal emissions represents, and determine “acceptable levels” of personal emissions.



As Slay News previously reported, the WEF recently suggested that the public should switch to eating laboratory-grown “synthetic meat” in an effort to fight “climate change.”



The organization has also called for a ban on private car ownership, arguing that it is “wasteful” for the public to own their own vehicles.



The calls come as the organization attempts to advance its “Great Reset” agenda which seeks to transform the world so that the average person will “own nothing.”

Greta Thunberg’s 2018 Prediction That World Would End In Five Years Doesn’t Turn Out So Well

Being the international spokesperson for a fake crisis can be tough, as the child actor who acts as the mouthpiece for the climate change industry has just been reminded. On Saturday, Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec tweeted at pint-sized climate scold Greta Thunberg, “Hi @gretathunberg! Why did you delete this?” The deleted tweet in question had Greta quoting this: “A climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.” The date on Greta’s tweet? June 21, 2018. Either we have just over three months to live, or Greta’s tweet was juuuuust a trifle hysterical. Her deletion of the tweet suggests that even Greta knows that the sun is likely to rise on June 22, 2023.

Greta was even more hysterical than her fellow climate mythicist, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Mars), who on Jan. 21, 2019, chastised the older generations for not being sufficiently terrified in the face of impending doom: “Millennials and Gen Z and all these folks that come after us are looking up, and we’re like, ‘The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?’”



Well, yeah, because I’m willing to wager right now that the sun will not only rise on June 22, 2023, but also on Jan. 22, 2031. The climate change hysterics have been trying to frighten the public with false apocalyptic scenarios and predictions of imminent destruction for far longer than most people realize. Back in September 1958, future feminist heroine Betty Friedan published an article in Harper’s Magazine entitled “The Coming Ice Age.” Friedan purported to explain “how a rising of the ocean waters may flood most of our port cities within the foreseeable future — and why it will be followed by the growth of a vast glacier which may eventually cover much of Europe and North America.” Do 65 years count as the “foreseeable future”? Can we safely say that we’re out of the danger zone for this coming ice age now?



In April 1970, Paul Erlich, author of the bestseller The Population Bomb, warned that “population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make. The death rate will increase until at least 100-200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next ten years.” This ridiculous claim was published in the fashion magazine Mademoiselle, which gives us a hint of how wealthy Leftist feminists are made.



Erlich was not alone in this. A professor named Peter Gunter wrote in 1970, “Demographers agree almost unanimously on the following grim timetable: by 1975 widespread famines will begin in India; these will spread by 1990 to include all of India, Pakistan, China and the Near East, Africa. By the year 2000, or conceivably sooner, South and Central America will exist under famine conditions….By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.” None of that happened, and 100 to 200 million people didn’t starve to death by 1980, but a generation of both men and women were thoroughly indoctrinated with the idea that it was wrong to have a large family because of the overpopulation “crisis.”


On June 29, 1989, the Associated Press (AP), which for some reason still remains a respected news organization despite the fact that it is one of the leading Leftist propaganda outfits operating today, published an article stating, “A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.” Technically, the hoaxer was Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the UN Environment Program (UNEP), but AP, and much of the Western world, fell for him hard. Here it is 23 years beyond the date by which rising sea levels were to be wiping nations off the face of the earth, and lo and behold, the nations of the earth are all still here.



Leftists have been using fear as a tool to sell their propaganda for decades. Greta’s deleted tweet ought to serve as a wake-up call for those who still suspect that their doomsday scenarios, which are all designed to force us into accepting poverty and bug-eating while China cements its global economic hegemony, might actually be real.

Harvard Medical School (HMS) is focused on protecting health — by putting “climate change” ideology in its M.D. curriculum. Because after fifty years of failed climate doom predictions, as well as recent evidence global warming is a hoax, Harvard is of course following the science… by putting leftist ideology ahead of scientific data. And elites wonder why people don’t trust the medical establishment.



The Harvard Crimson reported Feb. 3:



”A Harvard Medical School committee voted last month to embed climate change into the school’s curriculum.



In a meeting early last month, the HMS Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee voted unanimously to officially add climate change and health as a theme in the HMS M.D. curriculum … The new climate change curriculum will examine the impact of climate change on health and health inequality, applications of these impacts to clinical care, and the role of physicians and health institutions in arriving at climate solutions.”



Climate change and “health inequality” — there’s nothing like woke Pablum to inspire confidence in medical expertise! Is there solid evidence that “climate change” is causing serious medical issues, or is this just the latest balderdash in half a century of lies and insufficient data? Who knows? Harvard clearly isn’t interested in objectivity on the subject.


The Harvard Crimson claimed that “climate change” can increase the spread of infectious diseases (unlike failed COVID-19 vaccines, of course) and lung disease, and added, “The curriculum change aims to integrate climate change themes throughout students’ medical school education rather than creating new courses specifically around climate change.” Because the more indoctrination, the better.



Climate change will be a “fully curricular theme” by the start of the new academic year on July 1, 2023, The Harvard Crimson said. HMS student Julia Malits said she “hopes the successful push to include climate change in the curriculum inspires other students to pursue advocacy,” the Crimson added. Since when was medical school meant to produce activists?



It seems, sadly, that Harvard Medical School is becoming more interested in woke dogma than in training excellent doctors.

(Natural News) The first country in the world to ban the inhaled anesthetic desflurane is Scotland, which decided that the pain-numbing, sleep-inducing gas is too damaging to the climate to continue allowing for use at hospitals.



According to the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS), desflurane has a global warming “potential” that is 2,500 times greater than carbon dioxide (CO2), another gas that climate fanatics fear because they think it is responsible for melting the polar ice caps.



Already, some hospitals in the U.K. have begun phasing out the anesthetic, which will be gone from England as well by early 2024, except in exceptional circumstances.



The widespread claim, which is unsubstantiated, maintains that ending the use of desflurane in the U.K. will reduce “harmful emissions” by upwards of 40 kilotons of carbon per year, which is enough to power 1,100 homes (supposedly).

Everything damages the climate, so it must all be banned

In case you did not know, desflurane and its cousin sevoflurane are manmade hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) that supposedly contribute to a heating planet. The European Union is scheduled to ban desflurane starting on Jan. 1, 2026, except in exceptional circumstances.



Other potential gases on the chopping block from medical theaters include isoflurane and nitrous oxide.



On an average day, anesthetists can generate up to 500 kilograms (kg) of CO2 “equivalent,” as they are calling it at the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s (ABUHB) anesthetic department, which was the first in Wales to stop using desflurane.



The average U.K. citizen is said to use 25 kg of CO2 equivalent in a day, by comparison.



“Desflurane is the main culprit with 2,590 times more global warming potential (GWP) than CO2,” reports Newspunch. “A 240 ml bottle of desflurane, when vaporised, will produce the equivalent of 886 kg of carbon dioxide, according to the non-profit Centre for Sustainable Healthcare.”



Sevoflurane, conversely, has a GWP of just 130, while nitrous oxide warms the atmosphere almost 300 times more than CO2 and stays there for more than 100 years.



All this climate fearmongering hearkens back to the 1990s when the government and media were creating much ado about nothing concerning hairsprays and refrigerators, which we were all told were burning holes in the earth’s ozone layer.



This was nonsense, of course, but it brought about the globalists’ desired outcome which was bans on some of those items as well.



In the comments, someone speculated that nuclear and atomic weapons testing was more than likely the true culprit in the ozone depletion hysteria of the ’90s, assuming any of it had any merit.



“I’ve always suspected it was them and testing nuclear and atomic weapons in the atmosphere that caused the problems they had to make up scapegoats for,” this person wrote. “That and them letting rockets come back covered in who knows what stuff that they wouldn’t even know to look for.”



“I reckon they blew holes in the ozone themselves just to see what would happen. And the new gases in fridges and air conditions stink – they never get hot or cold, not like our good old ones back in the ’60s and ’70s did.”



“You could make your house super-hot in about 20 minutes and then turn the air off, or icy cold, and then not be using any electricity for ages. Not now. Turn it off and the rooms freezing again in no time. Useless. Wastes tons of electricity, makes them really rich. Of course the old oil heaters were the best of the lot so they outlawed them.”

The Telegraph this week published a headline calling for Hancock to be arrested and thrown in prison “for wilful misconduct in public office,” citing the recent U.K. Lockdown Files leak exposing Hancock’s criminal activity throughout the scamdemic.



More than 100,000 private WhatsApp messages, in case you missed it, were brought to light showing that Hancock was engaged in mass deception, fraud, and criminal conspiracy against the people of Great Britain. Here is what Allison Pearson, the author of the Telegraph article in question, tweeted about Hancock and his ilk:



“Even at the height of WW2, Government never used propaganda to frighten its own people. This lot did. Kids killed themselves, mental health collapsed. Unforgivable. Matt Hancock should be arrested wilful misconduct in pub office.”

Care-home resident families to sue Matt Hancock for crimes against humanity

Pearson explains in her article that Hancock lied, as many other politicians at the time did, about hospitals supposedly overflowing with covid patients. This was intended to scare the public while bringing the U.K.’s National Health Service (NHS) to its knees under oppressive lockdowns.



Children “with special educational needs” were also used “as leverage” by Hancock and other political cronies, Pearson reveals. This is part of why she hopes Hancock will be brought before a Select Committee for investigation and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.



“Personally, I would like to see him in jail for the vast hurt he has caused,” Pearson expressed about Hancock.



There are apparently a number of lawsuits in the works as well. The families of care-home residents who were impacted by Hancock’s criminality plan to sue him now that the WhatsApp messaging evidence has been unleashed.



“Today for the first time a major mainstream media (The Telegraph) in a Western country (UK) called for arrest and prosecution of health minister (Matt Hancock) for his Covid crimes,” said researcher and lecturer Dr. Eli David in a tweet about the matter.



“The first domino has fallen.”



The first domino has fallen indeed, and there are many more to follow. Hancock is just one covid crony among many who abused, tortured, and murdered members of the public with his medical fascism.



In the comments, someone wrote further that what Hancock and his ilk did throughout covid “was a despicable global attack by elite minorities in a class war for total control.”



Another wrote that what Hancock did amounts to terrorism in that the very definition of this word covers “the purposeful use of tactics meant to engender fear in a population to achieve specific responses, actions, etc.”



“Just exactly how are these people NOT worthy of domestic if not even international terrorism charges?” this same person asked. “I mean of course in addition to the charges of crimes against humanity.”



Someone else responded that just like how weapons are “deployed,” so was the control and fear narrative being peddled by Hancock and his ilk.



“Compliance, fear and submission of the populace was the obvious goal, which is CONTROL,” this person added. “This agenda, still being pushed is an evil attack on liberty.”



As to be expected, the American media, save for independent outlets like this one, is all but ignoring the Matt Hancock revelations and their implications for the rest of the covid criminals throughout the world who await justice.

‘Climate Change’ Causing More Home Runs in Baseball, Study Claims

A new study has claimed that the upward trend of home runs in professional baseball has been caused by “climate change.”



The Dartmouth study, which has attracted widespread media attention, claims that over 500 home runs in Major League Baseball since 2010 can be attributed to “climate change.”



CNN reported on the study and raised the alarm about the alleged “climate crisis.”



According to the outlet, the claimed phenomenon is evidence that radical green agenda policies must be implemented.



The study claims that the increase in home runs is owed in part to rising temperatures making the air less dense.



The warmer allows baseballs to travel farther when hit, the researchers allege.



Scientists acknowledged, however, that there are other factors as well to account for the increased amount of home runs in baseball.



It predicted that rising temperatures could end up accounting for 10% of all home runs that will occur this century, provided “climate change” solutions aren’t implemented.



The study, which was published in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society on Friday, sought an answer to why the last 13 years have seen an upswing in the number of homers.



According to the numbers, the time period has seen hundreds of more home runs compared to its preceding decade.


Chris Callahan, lead author of the study and a doctoral student in climate modeling and impacts at Dartmouth College and avid baseball fan, told CNN that “strong” evidence showing climate change affecting batting distances “surprised” him.



Callahan stated, “I remember being surprised at how strong the finding was.



“We’re not saying that every home run now is because of climate change, but you take the data and slice it any way you want, you find the same thing.”



He added, “And as a fan, I indeed am a little bit frustrated that home runs may continue to dominate, as it does now.”



The study claimed that due to warmer temperatures making the air less dense, balls were able to carry farther in the air and thus more likely to leave the yard.



The study’s co-author, Dartmouth assistant professor of geography Justin Mankin, corroborated the science behind the phenomenon.



“Passenger jets fly at 30,000 feet, because air density is really low up there, and it just means that planes are more efficient, given the same fuel,” Mankin said.



“We don’t fly passenger jets low in the atmosphere because there’s just so much more stuff in the way.”



The study’s methodology involved the researchers analyzing “more than 100,000 MLB games and 220,000 individual hits.”



They then overlayed those numbers with data about “unseasonably warm temperatures” the CNN piece explained.



They found a “clear connection” between home run numbers and rising temperatures.



The study found that “games that were held in open stadiums during the day, when the sun is out, saw a spike in home runs, while games held at night or in domed stadiums would see a smaller number of home runs.”



Their observations allowed them to propose that for every one degree Celsius increase in temperature, the number of home runs in a game goes up almost 2%.



The phenomenon would make it so that outdoor locations, like Chicago Cubs’ open-air Wrigley Field, would see a rise in home runs as the temperatures increased over time, whereas a domed stadium like Tropicana Field of the Tampa Bay Rays would not see a significant increase.



Beyond inclement weather, climate change has been cited as a factor in a number of trends and societal ills, including hate speech, obesity rates, the rise of the Islamic State terrorist group, and violent crime.
