Good News For Dems: UN Says South Will Be Too Hot for Humans by 2070

You must have been getting too calm: a meteorologist for NBC and the United Nations itself have now sounded the latest doomsday warning, although this one isn’t quite as urgently dire as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s famous 2019 warning that we were all gonna die within twelve years (egad, we have only eight left) if we didn’t gut the economy, eat bugs, and let China become the world’s sole economic powerhouse. Now our Leftist intellectual and moral superiors are assuring us that the Southern United States will be absolutely unfit for human habitation by 2070. All right, everybody, back to the blue states.



ADN America reported Monday that the day when the South will become a literal hellhole is “probably closer than you might think.” NBC groupthinker and establishment meteorologist Angie Lassman “cited a controversial 2022 United Nations climate report that says rising heat in the U.S. will make parts of Alabama, California, Georgia, Louisiana ‘less suitable’ for human beings by 2070.” By then, Democrat governors and mayors will have rendered the blue states and big cities even “less suitable” for human beings, and so where will our children and grandchildren go then?



NBC’s “Sunday Today” guest host, the aptly named Joe Fryer, chimed in: “The human body simply can’t handle these levels of heat and will go into heat stress. With much of the country and the world experiencing these record temps, at what point do certain areas just simply become uninhabitable for humans?”



Lassman was right there to add fuel to Fryer’s hysteria: “That report also states that up to one-third of the global population will start experiencing life-threatening heat conditions, something that we currently only see in places like the Sahara.” The implications, she said, were catastrophic: “This all means climate migration, people in the hottest areas with the most vulnerable populations moving to avoid the heat and drought conditions. That of course, will put pressure on the cities and towns they move to and the heat [is] projected to cause this ripple effect this century.”



Lassman was getting a great deal of this nonsense from the UN; she “cited a study published in October 2022 by the United Nations and Red Cross. It suggests that by 2070, heating temperatures could make some parts of the world ‘warmer than conditions deemed suitable for human life to flourish.’” Nevertheless, it would be premature to look into real estate deals in Antarctica. We’ve been living with climate hysteria from the Left for decades now.



It’s useful to remember that back in September 1958, future feminist heroine Betty Friedan published an article in Harper’s Magazine entitled “The Coming Ice Age.” Friedan purported to explain “how a rising of the ocean waters may flood most of our port cities within the foreseeable future — and why it will be followed by the growth of a vast glacier which may eventually cover much of Europe and North America.” Do 65 years count as the “foreseeable future”? Can we safely say that we’re out of the danger zone for this coming ice age now? Or might the vast glacier counter the effects of global warming and keep things relatively normal?



Friedan wasn’t alone. In April 1970, Paul Erlich, author of the bestseller “The Population Bomb,” warned that “population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make. The death rate will increase until at least 100-200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next ten years.” Yes, that would have been by 1980.

Likewise, a professor named Peter Gunter wrote in 1970, “Demographers agree almost unanimously on the following grim timetable: by 1975 widespread famines will begin in India; these will spread by 1990 to include all of India, Pakistan, China, and the Near East, Africa. By the year 2000, or conceivably sooner, South and Central America will exist under famine conditions… By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.” None of that happened, but a generation of both men and women were thoroughly indoctrinated with the idea that it was wrong to have a large family because of the overpopulation “crisis.”



On June 29, 1989, the Associated Press (AP) published an article stating, “A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.” The official was Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the UN Environment Program (UNEP). Here it is 23 years beyond the date by which rising sea levels were to be wiping nations off the face of the earth, and lo and behold, the nations of the earth are all still here.



Leftists have been using fear as a tool to sell their propaganda for decades. Their doomsday scenarios are designed to force us into accepting poverty and bug-eating while China cements its global economic hegemony. The real problem is the people who believe that these ridiculous and hysterical warnings are actually real.

Biden’s Climate Envoy John Kerry sat down for an interview with BBC this week to talk about the non-existent climate crisis.



“This is not complicated! It is the way we have chosen to propel our vehicles, heat our homes, light our factories and businesses … We have two choices: you either capture the emissions or you don’t create them in the first place,” John Kerry said.



John Kerry said people will have a better quality of life if fossil fuels are eliminated.



“[Climate] is not something where everybody has to go, ‘Oh my God, I don’t want to do this because it’s scary as hell and because we’re not gonna live the way we did.’ No! We will have a better quality of life!” John Kerry said.


The new climate mandates will only apply to the peasants.



John Kerry will still be living in his mansions and flying around on private jets.


John Kerry also said the US needs to “cooperate with China” in the global fight to reduce carbon emissions.



China is the largest producer and consumer of coal.



Beijing is also resisting calls to reduce its carbon emissions.



Meanwhile, the United States is moving backward and millions of Americans are now suffering during heat waves because of rolling blackouts.

Nobel Prize-Winning Scientist: ‘Climate Crisis’ Narrative Is a Hoax

A renowned Nobel Prize-winning scientist has spoken out to warn the public that the “climate crisis” narrative being pushed by the global elite and their allies in the corporate media is a hoax.



Dr. John Clauser, the co-winner of the 2022 Nobel Physics prize and one the world’s leading authorities on quantum mechanics, blasted “climate emergency” claims as a “dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people.”



Clauser, who was also awarded the 2010 Wolf Prize in Physics, the second most prestigious physics award after the Nobel, warns that misguided climate science is a hoax that is being driven by “massive shock-journalistic pseudoscience.”



Claims of a “climate crisis” are being promoted around the globe by governments and their media accomplice in an effort to comply with the green agenda goals of the World Economic Forum (WEF), United Nations (UN), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other unelected globalist organizations.



Meeting these goals typically involved plans to slash the quality of life for most of the general public while ramping up taxes to “save the planet.”



Meanwhile, the handful of powerful elites promoting the green agenda will continue to fly around in private jets and eat meat because they are “part of the solution.”



The comments from Clauser cast further doubt on the false claims that 99% of scientists believe humans cause all or most climate change.



Physicists along with chemists play a dominant role in investigating the science surrounding climate.



At its core, the science focuses on heat exchange and the behavior of atmospheric gases.



According to Clauser, climate pseudoscience has become a scapegoat for a wide variety of other unrelated issues.



It has been promoted and extended by similarly misguided business marketing agents, politicians, journalists, government agencies, and environmentalists.



“In my opinion, there is no real climate crisis,” he added.



“There is, however, a very real problem with providing a decent standard of living to the world’s largest population and an associated energy crisis.


“The latter is being unnecessarily exacerbated by what, in my opinion, is incorrect climate science.”



Dr. Clauser is not the first Nobel prize-winner to challenge the “settled” scientific and political narrative of “climate change,” however.



As Slay News reported, the World Climate Declaration has been signed by around 300 climate professors.



“There is no climate emergency,” the document declares.

The lead signatory is the Nobel laureate Professor Ivar Giaever.



The Declaration states that climate models are “not remotely plausible as global policy tools.”



They exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, but ignore any beneficial effect, it explains.



Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science, it says.



Professor Antonino Zichichi is the holder of Italy’s highest merit order, the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.



The honor was awarded to Zichichi for a lifetime of distinguished scientific work including several discoveries in the field of sub-nuclear physics.



In 2019 he led a group of 48 Italian science professors in stating that human responsibility for climate change is “unjustifiably exaggerated and catastrophic predictions are not realistic.”



In their scientific view, “natural variation explains a substantial part of the global warming observed since 1850.”



Recently, four Italian scientists, including three physics professors, undertook a major review of historical climate trends.



They concluded that there is no real data to support any declaration of a “climate emergency.”



Over many meteorological categories, there was “no clear positive trend of extreme events.”



Of course, cherry-picking single bad or “extreme” weather events will provide the main propaganda firepower for convincing populations that a globalist de-industrialization must take place within less than 30 years.



Last September, leading nuclear physicist Dr. Wallace Manheimer warned that so-called “Net Zero” goals will end modern civilization.



Manheimer observed that the new wind and solar infrastructure would fail, cost trillions, trash large portions of the environment “and be entirely unnecessary.”



The “Climate Industrial Complex” has “somehow” managed to convince enough of the world’s population that carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere, a gas necessary for life on Earth that is exhaled in every breath, “is an environmental poison,” he added.



As regular Slay News readers, or anyone who remembers a high-school biology class, will already know, plants take in CO2 from the air and soil during photosynthesis and produce oxygen.



Humans and other animals then breathe in oxygen and exhale CO2.



It’s a beautiful cycle that has perfectly evolved over millions of years.



Because of this, increases in CO2 help to green the Earth, not poison it.



Dr. Clauser has recently been elected to the board of the Virginia-based CO2 Coalition.



The group is a collective of around 120 scientists and researchers representing a broad range of climate science disciplines.



Welcoming Clauser to the board, the distinguished atmospheric scientist Dr. William Happer, Emeritus Professor at Princeton, said his studies of climate provided strong evidence that there is no climate crisis.



Happer notes that increasing CO2 concentrations would actually benefit the world.



Dr. Happer is a leading proponent of the “saturation” hypothesis of warming gases such as CO2.



He observes that, at certain levels, such gases become saturated in small bands of the infrared spectrum.



As a consequence, their warming ability diminishes on a logarithmic scale.



The observation helps to explain the 600 million-year geological record.



The record shows that CO2 measurements have been up to 20 times higher than current atmospheric levels.

13 Nations Agree to Crack Down on Farming to Fight ‘Global Warming’

The United States has joined twelve other nations from around the world in an agreement to crack down on the agriculture industry to fight “global warming.”



International governments have agreed to sign a pact pledging to target food production by shutting down farms to reduce “methane emissions.”



The thirteen nations signing the Global Methane Pledge are:

The United States

The move seeks to drastically cut meat and dairy supply around the world to allegedly “save the planet” from “climate change.”



The U.S., Australia, Brazil, and Argentina, nations that are signing the pact, are among the world’s largest producers of meat.



On behalf of the United States, Democrat President Joe Biden’s “Special Envoy for Climate” John Kerry has already vowed to sign the pact.



As Slay News previously reported, Kerry insists that farmers must slash food production to meet the “Net Zero” goals of the globalist green agenda.



The signing of the pact was announced earlier this year by the Global Methane Hub.



The Global Methane Hub is an organization dedicated to advancing the green agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF) as outlined in the Paris Climate Agreement.



In a joint statement, representatives from nations involved in the anti-farming pact celebrated the agreement.



“Food systems are responsible for 60% of methane emissions,” said Marcelo Mena, CEO of Global Methane Hub.



“We congratulate countries willing to take the lead in food systems methane mitigation and confirm our commitment to support this type of initiative with programs that explore promising methane mitigation technologies and the underpinning research of methane mitigation mechanisms to create new technologies.”



“Mitigating methane is the fastest way to reduce warming in the short term,” said U.S. “Climate Czar” John Kerry.


“Food and agriculture can contribute to a low-methane future by improving farmer productivity and resilience.



“We welcome agriculture ministers participating in the implementation of the Global Methane Pledge.”



“We are very pleased that the countries that participated in the conference committed to good practices in livestock not only to adapt to climate change but also to mitigate methane emissions,” said Esteban Valenzuela, Chile’s Agricultural Minister.



“This includes countries from five continents and most of the major cattle-producing countries of the west of the world.”



“I am glad to see the shared commitment by the international community to mitigate methane emissions from agriculture as a means to achieve the goals we signed for in the Paris Agreement on climate,” said Luis Planas, Spain’s Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.



“To that aim, we must promote investments and transfer of knowledge at farm level to put in practice the best available techniques that allow farmers to curb the emissions and to strengthen their resilience and adaptation to climate change.”



The news comes as unelected bureaucratic organizations, including the WEF, United Nations, and World Health Organization, push their radical green agenda onto sovereign nations.

American Cancer Society: ‘Carbon Footprint’ of Treating Patients Is Too Big

American Cancer Society (ACS) is warning that treating patients for cancer is contributing to “climate change” because the so-called “carbon footprint” of the procedures is too large.



Since 2020, claims have been emerging that treating cancer has a high “climate impact.”



On May 18, 2020, CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians, a journal of the ACS, published a bizarre “science” paper lamenting the vainly imaginative myth that treating cancer in the United States is somehow contributing to “man-made global warming.”



These claims have continued to grow in the little more than three years since that study was published.



However, the United States is now suffering from a mysterious shortage of cancer treatment pharmaceuticals.



According to the ACS in 2020, the “carbon footprint of cancer care” has become too large.



The ACS argues that trying to rid patients of the disease threatens to accelerate allegedly man-made “climate change.”



Now in 2023, either predictively or by design, there is a mysterious lack of the usual drug-based tools that cancer clinicians use to treat patients.



Before the shortage, some cancer clinicians were also complaining that the treatments are damaging the environment.



Is all of this just one big strange coincidence, or was the plan all along to blame modern medicine for planetary warming while simultaneously phasing out cancer care under the guise of there no longer being enough cancer drugs available to treat everyone?



Marc Morano of Climate Depot chimed in on the matter, noting that it is certainly strange, to say the least, that things like anesthesia and cancer drugs are suddenly in the crosshairs for elimination by the “global warming” crowd.



With anesthesia, they are outright trying to ban certain types of it that supposedly impact the climate the worst, but with cancer drugs, there are all of a sudden, not enough of them making it into cancer clinics.



The Lancet recently published a study about the cancer drug shortage and how it affected cancer care.


Chemotherapy drugs, in particular, are in short supply in the United States, reaching three-decade lows.



The shortage is now at the level that experts are calling the situation a “crisis point.”



As many as 100,000 patients are now no longer able access to chemotherapy drugs like they once did.



Corporate media outlets like Politico and PBS News are warning that both doctors and patients are increasingly having to make tough choices about what to do as an alternative.



Hospitals and cancer centers across the country are running out of two major injectable cancer drugs: carboplatin and cisplatin.



Politico, meanwhile, is just about celebrating these shortages by running headlines that state: “Can Hospitals Turn Into Climate Change Fighting Machines? Inside the greening of American health care.”



Since “green” is typically code for anti-human, we can only assume that what they mean by the “greening” of health care is that patients will be left with increasingly fewer treatment options.



More of them will end up dying as a result, which will “green” the planet further by leaving fewer people alive.



There is also a power shift happening as well, thanks to the new allowances by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the importation of cancer drugs from communist China, which increasingly produces drugs for America.



In other words, another American industry is being outsourced to one of the country’s biggest political enemies.



All of this seems to be aimed at further weakening America’s economic status while bolstering that of Communist China.



And it is all being done under the guise of “fighting man-made climate change.”

Green Agenda War on Nitrous Oxide Threatens Global Food Supply

The global food supply has been coming under increasing pressure in recent years as governments push policies to comply with the green agenda goals.



One of the hardest-hit industries in the globalist fight against “climate change” has been agriculture.



In many cases around the world, farmers have become direct targets of the climate agenda.



The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has launched a “war on nitrous oxide” to achieve Net Zero Emissions (NZE) by 2050



In November 2022, four renowned scientists issued a theoretical physics paper titled, “Nitrous Oxide and Climate.”



The paper proves that the IPCC’s Net Zero goals threaten to cause a significant collapse in the world’s food supply.


All four are staunch critics of the IPCC war to expand the hysterical climate attack on carbon dioxide (CO2) to include demonizing nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4), which are classed as “minor greenhouse gases.”



The report concludes with a compelling truth: “It is not possible to maintain highly productive agriculture without nitrogen fertilizer.”



It’s a genuinely frightening thought that the globalist neo-Marxists at the heart of today’s climate hysteria have chosen to attack N2O.



If governments ban nitrogen fertilizers, millions will die.



The neo-Marxist ideologues are willing to manipulate existential climate fear in their insane willingness to kill millions if that’s what is required to negate capitalism.



The scientists’ core argument completely negates the IPCC’s hysteria.


The data establish that the minimal impact of N2O and CH4 on Earth’s temperature does not risk a collapse in the global food chain.



They write:



Since the biosphere is the main source of the minor greenhouse gases, nitrous oxide and methane, agriculture has been targeted with various regulations that will supposedly “save the planet” from climate change.



The planet is not in danger from greenhouse gases.



But some of the regulations to address this non-problem are of great concern since they will drastically cut food supplies for the world.



This argument understands the definition of “radiative forcing,” the scientific phenomenon that quantifies mathematically what in common parlance is loosely known as the “greenhouse gas” effect.



Radiative forcing is the difference in the net upward thermal radiation flux from the Earth through a transparent atmosphere and radiation through an otherwise identical atmosphere with greenhouse gases.



The point is that greenhouse gases prevent all the heat from the solar irradiance the Earth absorbs during the day from escaping to outer space at night.

Without greenhouse gases, the Earth would most likely not be habitable for human life.



Radiative forcing is measured scientifically in W m-2, i.e., in watts per square meter irradiance.



N2O is a more potent greenhouse gas than CO2 because N2O absorbs more escaping irradiance, but N2O is much less plentiful than CO2 in the atmosphere.



N2O’s contribution to radiative forcing is about 1/13 that of CO2.



A significant conclusion of the paper is that the observed rates of increase of N2O “pose no threat whatsoever to climate.”



The authors base this conclusion “on the well-established principles of radiation transfer, which shows that for current growth rates, the contribution of N2O to warming is only about 6% that of all greenhouse gases.”



Thus, they estimate that “the absolute warming rate from N2O is about 0.064 C [Celsius] per century.”



This means that imposing rigorous regulations to eliminate nitrogen fertilizers from agriculture would be reckless, given the minuscule contribution of N2O at current emission rates to global warming.



They stress:



Proposals to place harsh restrictions on nitrous oxide emissions because of warming fears are not justified by these facts.



Restrictions could cause serious harm; for example, by jeopardizing world food supplies.



The scientists helpfully explain that nitrogen fertilizers are the “single most important” factor that has led to the “huge increases in agricultural productivity since the year 1950 [that] have eliminated the deadly famines that plagued mankind throughout recorded history.”

A confidential World Bank report published by the Guardian found that biofuels had forced global food prices up by 75 percent, “pushing a hundred million people into poverty and thirty million into hunger.”

96% of U.S Climate Data Is Corrupted, Study Shows

Amid the recent rise in fear-mongering reports from the corporate media driven by the globalist green agenda, many rarely look at the legitimacy of the data that these doom allegations of a so-called “climate crisis” are actually based on.



Much of the panic-inducing claims of a “climate emergency” we hear from in the media, often supported with scary red and fire orange-colored weather maps, are mostly based on corrupted data.



However, the goal of the “climate crisis” narrative isn’t about “saving the planet” but rather ushering policies to comply with the radical “green agenda” goals of a handful of unelected globalist elites representing the interests of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the United Nations, World Health Organization (WHO), and other non-governmental organizations.

The bricks, asphalt, and other human construction materials used in these environments artificially trap heat, leading to a “warming bias” in the collected data.



Thermometers placed in natural settings register lower average temperatures.



That’s not to say that the cities, parking lots, and highways aren’t warmer. They clearly are.



But it’s not because the planet overall is getting warmer.



It’s because we build things that trap and retain more heat than Mother Nature would capture and retain if left to her own devices.

“The era of global warming has ended,” Guterres declared.



“The era of global boiling has arrived.”

Without evidence, Guterres continued to claim this July has seen the hottest three-week period ever recorded, three hottest days on record, and highest-ever ocean temperatures for this time of year.

Since temperate records began in 1927, the heatwaves of 1936 saw the hottest temperates recorded.


This year, however, the percentage of the U.S. that reached 110F is currently at a record low, a fact Guterres failed to mention.

The five hottest July 25ths ever recorded were all before 1953.

Reducing ‘Carbon Emissions’ Does Nothing to ‘Fight Global Warming,’ Study Shows

A new study has disputed claims that reducing “carbon emissions” on Earth is vital for tackling so-called “global warming.”



Advocates of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) green agenda claim that humans are contributing to an alleged “man-made climate crisis” due to increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.



The WEF and the organization’s globalist allies argue that the public must drastically slash their quality of life to fight “global boiling” by reducing “carbon emissions.”



To meet the WEF’s “Net Zero” goals for “carbon emissions” as laid out in the Paris Climate Accord, the general public will be required to give up travel, end consumption of meat and dairy products, stop reproducing, surrender privacy, pay higher taxes, and live in “cashless societies.”



However, while global elites and the corporate media continue to push the fearmongering anti-carbon narrative, the claims always fall flat when confronted by dreaded facts and historical data.



A group of Korean scientists has just tested the claims to see whether cutting the amount of carbon in the atmosphere would automatically lead to lower temperatures.



In the study, the researchers simulated how removing large amounts of carbon would affect the progress of local climate changes related to global warming.



Computer modeling looked at the hypothetical scenario in which “carbon dioxide concentrations continued to rise from present-day levels for 140 years, then were gradually reduced back to the initial levels over another 140-year period,” according to Space.com.



The study results suggest that the local climate in these areas would not return to normal for more than 200 years after the carbon dioxide concentrations drop.



The Mediterranean region, for example, plagued by ever more severe heatwaves, droughts and wildfires, would continue to suffer and could become even drier, the study found.



In the study, the researchers modeled the changes to the air circulation pattern called the Hadley Cell, which transports moisture from the equatorial regions toward the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, which lie at about 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator, respectively.



Scientists have known for years that the Hadley Cell circulation responds to climate change by expanding toward the poles.



The humid air that rises from around the equator gets dumped back to Earth at higher and higher latitudes, causing worsening droughts in subtropical regions.



The problem, according to the modeling, is that the Hadley Cell doesn’t recover its original shape and extent even after another 220 years.



In fact, the interference in the atmospheric circulations could have the reverse effect and cause some areas of the world to see higher temperatures.



Even with a reduction in greenhouse gases, the scientists found that a reduction in carbon would likely cause warmer and drier weather in these sub-tropical regions because of the way the Hadley Cell is currently forming.



Study lead author Seo-Yeon Kim speculates to Space.com that non-recovery of the crucial atmospheric circulation pattern has to do with the decrease in temperatures prompted by the carbon dioxide removal.



“One of the main reasons for this asymmetrical response [of the Hadley Cell] is the different response of the northern and southern oceans,” said Kim, a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at Seoul National University in South Korea.


“It’s related to ocean circulation.



“The response of the ocean is always slower than the removal of the carbon dioxide, and how fast the ocean responds then determines the recovery of the Hadley Cell.”



Space.com notes:



In the study, the team used current carbon dioxide levels as a starting point and modeled a scenario in which concentrations by a factor of four before being brought back to the base level. They didn’t model a return to the levels that were common in pre-industrial times, before humans began burning fossil fuels.



The study concludes that efforts to cut carbon from the atmosphere would not lead to lower temperatures and put the “global warming” genie back in the bottle.

On behalf of the United States, Democrat President Joe Biden’s “Special Envoy for Climate” John Kerry has already vowed to sign the pact.

EU Backs Bill Gates’ Plan to ‘Fight Global Warming’ by Blocking the Sun

The European Union (EU) has thrown its support behind Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates’ radical plans “fight global warming” by blocking light from the Sun to lower the temperature on Earth.



The EU will join an international globalist effort to examine the effectiveness of the plan.



Several nations’ governments are joining unelected bureaucratic agencies to determine whether a large-scale intervention such as deflecting the Sun’s rays or changing the Earth’s weather patterns are viable options for “fighting climate change.”



As Slay News has previously reported, Bill Gates has long been advocating for the plan to fight “global warming” using experimental geoengineering to block the Sun.



The idea, promoted by Gates and leftist billionaire George Soros, involves pumping manmade white clouds into the atmosphere to reflect sunlight away from the planet’s surface.



The radical scheme would lower the planet’s temperature and allegedly “combat global warming.”



Soros claims the technology will help to prevent ice sheets from melting.



Ice sheets melting in Greenland in particular, he claimed, could doom human civilization.



“Our civilization is in danger of collapsing because of the inexorable advance of climate change,” Soros said.



“The melting of the Greenland ice sheet would increase the level of the oceans by seven meters.



“That poses a threat to the survival of our civilization,” he alleged.



The method pushed by Bill Gates involves increasing aerosol concentrations in the stratosphere to reflect solar radiation away from the Earth.



Gates has been funding a major project at Harvard using balloons to deploy aerosols.

However, Gates’s Harvard project was shut down following pushback from the public over the plan.



The EU is assessing the security implications of “global warming,” such as the potential for scarce water or food to trigger conflict and migration, according to a draft document seen by Bloomberg.



Part of that assessment includes studying the potential dangers of re-engineering the atmosphere.



“These technologies introduce new risks to people and ecosystems, while they could also increase power imbalances between nations, spark conflicts and raise a myriad of ethical, legal, governance and political issues,” according to the document, which is subject to change.



Embarking on this research pushes the EU into the debate over whether so-called climate geoengineering is good science or just a science-fiction distraction.



Such geoengineering plans carry potentially dangerous implications for the planet and its atmosphere.



The bloc would like to see international discussions on creating rules for the fledgling sector.



“The EU will support international efforts to assess comprehensively the risks and uncertainties of climate interventions, including solar radiation modification,” according to the document.



Such large-scale interventions have emerged alongside scientific advances and growing concern that nations will overshoot the green agenda target to limit global warming to 1.5 deg C.



Blocking out the Sun’s rays is now frequently being pushed as a plan to tackle the so-called “climate crisis.”



Critics warn, however, that such drastic plans may have unforeseen side effects, such as altering vital rain patterns or cooling Earth too much and sending the planet into an ice age.



Some scientists have called for an international non-use agreement on such solutions.



Other experts, meanwhile, argue that reports of a “climate crisis” are a hoax designed to stoke fear in the public in an effort to raise taxes and restrict freedoms.



As Slay News previously reported, renowned environmentalist Dr. Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Greenpeace, is warning the public that the anti-carbon dioxide narrative is a scam.



Moore, an ecologist and environmental activist for more than 50 years, argues that an increased level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is beneficial.



According to Moore, claims that climate change is “human-caused” are “propaganda” which he describes as “dangerous.”



The comments from Moore, a leading expert in environmentalism, directly conflict with the green agenda being pushed by Biden’s administration and globalist groups such as the United Nations (UN) and World Economic Forum (WEF).



Moore says that environmentalism has been hijacked and the movement has “abandoned science and logic in favor of emotion and sensationalism.”



“When Greenpeace began, we had a strong humanitarian orientation, to save civilization from destruction by all-out nuclear war,” Moore said.



“Over the years the ‘peace’ in Greenpeace was gradually lost and my organization, along with much of the environmental movement, drifted into a belief that humans are the enemies of the Earth.”

Scotland Admits Chopping Down 16 Million Trees to Make Way for ‘Green’ Wind Energy Farms

A Scottish government official has admitted that almost 16 million trees have been cut down in Scotland to make way for “green energy” farms.



The trees were growing on public land and were chopped down so the land could be used for wind turbines.



The admission was made by Scotland’s Rural Affairs Secretary Mairi Gougeon, a member of the ruling left-wing Scottish National Party (SNP).



She estimated that 15.7 million trees had been cut down since 2000 on land currently managed by Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS).



To meet the goals of the climate agenda, the equivalent of more than 1,700 trees were felled per day.



Gougeon, who serves as the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Angus North and Mearns, disclosed the figures to North East Scotland MSP Liam Kerr in a July 13 letter.



The letter stated that around 7,858 hectares of trees “have been felled in order to facilitate wind farm development.”



The rural affairs secretary insisted that there was a planning presumption that favored the protection of Scottish woodlands, explaining that “removal should only be permitted where it would achieve significant and clearly defined additional public benefits.”



Gougeon continued: “Where woodland is removed in association with development, developers will generally be expected to provide compensatory planting in order to avoid a net loss of woodland.”



She further explained that many of the felled trees will have been “replanted on-site” or replaced elsewhere.



No information has yet been provided regarding any trees that were “replanted,” however.



In response, Kerr remarked that the public would be “astonished” at the figures.



He said: “Most people will be astonished to see the number of trees cut down to make way for wind farms.”


“I’ve been contacted many times by rural communities all over the country questioning the location of these developments, sharing legitimate concerns not just about the visual impact but also damage to wildlife and business.



“Now we learn there’s significant damage when it comes to trees.”



The North East Scotland MSP ultimately commented that ministers “must be alive” to the “significant costs” that could be incurred with the erection of wind farms.



Currently, Scotland already has turbines theoretically capable of generating 8.4 gigawatts (GW) of power.



However, ministers from the ruling SNP want to add a further eight to 12 GW to this capacity.



Aside from erecting new turbines, the SNP also plans to replace existing turbines that may be coming to the end of their working life with even taller and larger versions.



The replacement of the turbines is a process called “repowering.”



Reports from early 2023 stated that some wind farm developers want to erect turbines up to 850 feet tall.



Meanwhile, FLS said it had planted more than 500 million trees since 2000.



The quantity cut down for wind farms, it added, equated roughly to its annual harvesting program.



“Renewable energy generated from wind farms is a key element in Scotland’s response to the climate emergency,” said a spokesman for the agency, which is under Gougeon’s purview.



“The shift toward net zero and the infrastructure on land that we manage generates enough power for 600,000 homes.”



“The volatile price of imported gas has left energy consumers suffering some of the highest prices in living memory, alongside a climate emergency which means cutting the amount of carbon we emit as quickly as possible,” said Scottish Renewables Policy Director Morag Watson.



“Building new wind farms, the cheapest form of power generation tackles both problems at once.”



Climate alarmists claim that trees aid in “lowering carbon emissions.”



Yet they are more than willing to cut them down for occupying land supposedly for renewable energy sources that are ultimately unreliable.



“It seems deeply ironic that trees are being felled to make way for wind farms when both healthy, growing forests and renewable energy are important,” Steve Micklewright, CEO of the conservation charity Trees for Life, told the Herald.



“Not only are millions of [carbon-dioxide] absorbing trees being felled for turbines, hundreds of thousands of acres of ancient carbon-holding peat are being dug up too,” commented activist Lyndsey Ward.



“Many more trees will have been sacrificed and peat lost as remote wind factories are connected to a grid that cannot cope with them.”

WEF Partner Pushing to ‘End’ Private Car Ownership to Fight ‘Global Boiling’

The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) green agenda has become increasingly prominent in recent years as the unelected globalist organization aggressively pushes to usher in its “Great Reset.”



Other global bureaucratic agencies are also ramping up efforts to force the governments of sovereign nations to comply with the WEF’s climate goals.



As Slay News recently reported, Antonio Guterres, the director general of the United Nations, declared in a fearmongering speech last month that the public must submit to the green agenda because “global boiling has arrived.”



A key part of the WEF’s “Great Reset” agenda is the idea that members of the public will surrender all property, privacy, and rights and allow the government, and unelected bureaucrats, to control every aspect of life.



The WEF infamously coined the phrase: “You will own nothing and be happy.”



However, the WEF isn’t the only entity planning for a world where you “own nothing” and enjoy it — or else.



In 2019, WEF’s partner Arup Group released a report pontificating, “private car ownership needs to end.”



This was allegedly going to solve the fake “crisis” of climate change, which has supposedly been about to cause a global apocalypse for 50 years now.



Arup Group, which is listed as a partner by the WEF, released its report demanding that the consumption of clothing, cars, electronics, and food has to change to “save the planet.”



The rules are apparently for everyone except the elites, who argue that they need to fly by private jets because they “are the solution.”



The report touts the WEF’s “Net Zero” carbon goals which are laid out in the Paris Climate Accord.



Yet, the report completely ignores the fact that carbon is absolutely essential for life on Earth.



Indeed, increased carbon actually greens the Earth and helps plants — including food crops — thrive.


Humans and animals also need it too.



But neither Arup nor WEF is interested in objective science, only in a narrative that impoverishes most citizens and gives the elites exponentially more control.



Data shows that the world has not in fact experienced global warming for the last eight years.



Even more relevant to this Arup Group report, a recent study found that CO2 emissions from fossil fuels are too low to cause global warming.



So private cars aren’t about to trigger climate catastrophe.



But Arup and its co-creators and funders of the report — University of Leeds, C40 Cities, and Citi Foundation — don’t care what the science is.



The data undermining global warming has been accumulating for eight years, meaning it was measurable well before the 2019 report came out.



They want to make most people totally dependent on the elites for travel.



After all, WEF has proposed a digital ID/social credit score that would be required to do or buy almost anything, with those who refuse to comply easily cut out of society.



The WEF has also previously laid out its plan for a world with no private ownership whatsoever.



Again, all commodities would be dependent on government approval.



A key quote from the Arup 2019 report:



On construction, cities need to change what types of buildings and infrastructure are built as well as what materials are used.



On transport, private car ownership needs to end and the shared vehicles that replace it have to use less materials and be longer lasting.



Urban residents will also need to adopt a largely plant-based diet, mostly replace flying with less energy-intensive forms of long-distance transport, change how clothes and textiles are consumed and keep electronics and household appliances for longer.



The report goes on to state:



C40 cities need to meet their Deadline 2020 commitments so that production-based emissions peak by the early 2020s, before collectively halving by 2030, in order to achieve net carbon neutrality by 2050…this report recommends that C40 cities focus on reducing emissions within six consumption categories: buildings and infrastructure; food; private transport; clothing and textiles; aviation; and electronics and household appliances.



According to the WEF and its allies, we will all be eating bugs and living in tiny prison-like apartments in “15-minute cities.”



Will will no longer be able to travel or make our own choices and will presumably be wearing a uniform.



If the WEF gets its way, there won’t be much of a planet left to “save” anyway.

PBS NewsHour Rolls Out ‘Climate Psychology Therapist’ to Help Calm ‘Climate Anxiety’ (VIDEO)

PBS just keeps getting weirder: They actually brought on a “climate psychologist” to help calm ‘climate anxiety.’



Whatever that is!



As if people don’t have enough responsibilities or burdens in life, enter our friends at PBS. Now they have another thing they want people to focus on: climate anxiety!


John Yang, who is an anchor at PBS NewsHour, interviewed a “climate psychology therapist.”



According to NewsBusters:



PBS producers ran soundbites of seven souls who claimed the fear of “climate change” had made them anxious about the future, including Mark Ikeda, who said: “Climate anxiety affects my daily life, by the decisions I make about when I want to go someplace or where I want to go or more [inaudible], how I want to travel.”



John Yang interviewed Leslie Davenport, who is a “climate psychology therapist.” She says,” We view distress, upset, sadness, grief, anger about climate change to be a really reasonable, even healthy reaction.” She referred to this field of psychology as “emerging.” One has to ask, is climate change even qualify as science?



“This summer, millions of Americans are experiencing firsthand the effects of climate change. Triple-digit temperatures for days on end, smoke from record-setting wildfires fouling the air, warming oceans, bleaching coral reefs, Opinion polls when growing concern about climate change. Psychologists say that can be a positive thing, spurring people to action. But for some people, it becomes an overwhelming sense of despair or anxiety. Psychologists call it climate anxiety. This week, we asked people about their emotional responses to climate change,” John Yang said.



“Well, from the emerging field of climate psychology, one thing that’s really important to understand is we view distress, upset, sadness, grief, anger about climate change to be a really reasonable, even healthy reaction. Because it’s built into us as people that if we feel risks, threats, experience losses, there’s going to be upset. So it’s really important to acknowledge that if you’re feeling that on any level of intensity, it really means you’re paying attention, you care, you’re empathetic to what’s happening to our world,” Davenport said.



Davenport went on to tell viewers to find ‘climate circles’ to express their feelings.



Junk scientist Al Gore spearheaded the modern climate hysteria.



Al Gore has made climate predictions in the past that did not come true.



“Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed global warming was “boiling the oceans,” has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false,” Fox News reported.



For example, Gore said during a speech at the Copenhagen Climate Conference in 2009 that there was “a 75% chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during some of the summer months, could be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years.”



The former vice president made similar comments at least twice before in speeches, citing research.



These statements are just a sample of his apocalyptic view of our planet. Other claims have included rising temperatures, stronger storms, and rising sea levels.



One has to ask, science, or fiction?

Democrat Cori Bush: ‘The Climate Crisis Is Here and It’s Killing People!’

Radical Democrat Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) has taken to social media to deceitfully blames the wildfires in Hawaii on an alleged “climate crisis.”



In an alarmist post on Twitter, Bush used fearmongering tactics to advance her socialist green agenda by claiming that the so-called “climate crisis is here” and is “killing people.”



“My heart breaks hearing of the devastation in Maui,” Bush tweeted while sharing a post from NBC News on the fires.



“The climate crisis is here and its [sic] killing people,” she falsely claimed.



“It’s time for @potus to declare a climate emergency,” Bush added.

Other Democrat lawmakers also pushed fearmongering climate alarmism while commenting on the fires.



“Heartbreaking fires in Hawaii!” Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) posted.



“Scientists are clear that climate chaos wreaking havoc on ecosystems everywhere is the new norm,” he falsely alleged.



“We need to take action immediately or else it will get even worse.”



“My prayers are with all impacted by the devastating wildfires in Maui,” Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) tweeted.



“#CA12 & the rest of the country stand ready to assist in the recovery.



“The climate is in crisis, and it’s not up for debate.


“We must declare a climate emergency & act before more lives are lost.”



The Democratic National Committee shared a video that featured a split screen showing fires on one side and Republican figures on the other side making comments that go against climate alarmist ideology.



The clip included {resident Donald Trump disputing “global warming” claims and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis saying that he opposes politicizing the weather.



“Another horrific disaster made catastrophically worse because of climate change,” the text of the Democrats’ post read.



“And Republicans are still denying the climate crisis.”

Dozens have died as a consequence of the fires in Hawaii.



“Lahaina, with a few rare exceptions, has been burned down,” Hawaii Gov. Josh Green (D) noted, according to the Associated Press.



According to the New York Times, Green described the situation as looking like a bomb exploded.

WEF Scientist Details Plan to End Public Meat Consumption to Fight ‘Climate Change’

A World Economic Forum-linked scientist has detailed disturbing plans to force the public into ending meat consumption in order to fight “climate change.”



Professor Matthew Liao, a leading bioethicist linked to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “Great Reset” agenda, believes that humans can be genetically engineered to be smaller in size to reduce their impact on so-called “global warming.”



Dr. Liao, director of the College of Global Public Health’s Center for Bioethics at New York University, also wants people to be genetically modified to become meat intolerant.



By making the public allergic to meat, Liao argues that governments could shut down the majority of the farming industry and “save the planet.”



A recently reemerged video shows Liao laying out this sinister plot to fight “climate change” during the 2016 World Science Forum.



His comments have garnered renewed interest as the WEF and its globalist “green agenda” allies attempt to shut down the meat industry to combat the alleged “climate crisis.”



In the video, he explains his vision of ending meat consumption by genetically modifying humans.



“People eat too much meat,” Liao said.



“And if they were to cut down on their consumption of meat, then it would actually really help the planet.”



Liao discussed making humans intolerant to meat through chemical and hormonal interventions.



However, he also admits that he loves meat too much to give it up, suggesting that he would need to be forced to stop consuming it.



“But people are not willing to give up meat,” Liao admitted.



“Some people will be willing to, but other people – they may be willing to but they have a weakness of will.


“They say, ‘This steak is just too juicy, I can’t do that.’



“I’m one of those by the way.



“So here’s a thought,” he continues.



“So it turns out that we know a lot about — we have these intolerances.



“For example, I have a milk intolerance.



“And some people are intolerant to crayfish.



“So possibly we can use human engineering to make the case that we’re intolerant to certain kinds of meat, to certain kinds of bovine proteins.”



“There’s this thing called the Lone Star tick where if it bites you, you will become allergic to meat,” he added.



“So that’s something we can do through human engineering.



“We can possibly address really big world problems through human engineering.”

But Liao also wants to shrink humans through eugenics or hormone injections.



He argues that smaller people would consume fewer resources.

Essentially, Liao “believes that solving climate change starts with the individual,” Marketplace reported in 2016.



“That’s why he suggests we turn humans into cat-eyed, meat-allergic, semi-genius, hobbit people.”



To most people, Liao’s elitist proposals seem absurd and immoral.



However, globalist entities like the WEF, United Nations, and Gates Foundation take his philosophies very seriously.



During the WEF’s 2021 Davos Summit, Liao’s 2012 paper “Human Engineering and Climate Change” was brought up during its discussion of the “Planetary Health Diet.”



The Planetary Health Diet is a globalist initiative to shift mankind away from meat-based diets.



Instead, the initiative seeks to push the general public toward consuming alternative protein sources like insects and synthetic lab-grown meat tissue like the Bill Gates-backed Beyond Meats.

“Last year in December, in preparation for this year’s virtual Davos Summit, the World Economic Forum unveiled its bioengineering framework in a presentation called ‘3 Scenarios for How Bioengineering Could Change Our World in 10 Years’,” BioHackInfo reported in February.



“Edible vaccines grown in plants and CRISPR gene-editing were some of the highlights of the framework.



“The presentation was based on a World Economic Forum-sponsored academic paper called Bioengineering Horizon Scan 2020.



“For this year’s Davos Summit, Liao’s human bioengineering paper was added for consideration as a possible add-on to the ‘Bioengineering Horizon Scan 2020’ paper for both the World Economic Forum’s bioengineering framework and Climate Change framework as it tackles both topics.”



Nevertheless, most people immediately reject the idea of eating insects and synthetic meats.



But the WEF is aware of this and has a Democrat-esque plan to shift the public’s sentiments toward bug-eating.



The WEF claims that people who refuse to get on board with the Great Reset agenda by eating insects to “save the planet” must be “racist.'”

This comes amid mounting concerns over the side effects of cow protein Alpha-gal.



In the United States, the protein is usually transferred to people with the bite of the Lone Star tick.



However, the Alpha-gal protein is in Covid shots and many childhood vaccines.



Interestingly, the protein can trigger Alpha-gal syndrome which causes potentially-deadly meat allergies in humans.



There is no cure for Alpha-gal syndrome and treatment involves avoiding eating meat.



Sufferers cannot consume beef, pork, lamb, organ meats, or gelatins.

96% of ‘Climate Change’ Data Has Been Faked, Study Finds

A bombshell new study has determined that the vast majority of “climate change” data that are cited in the corporate media’s fearmongering reports have actually been faked.



Veteran meteorologist Anthony Watts of the Heartland Institute recently concluded a massive study on the weather and the climate in general.



Watts had traveled around the country inspecting meteorological equipment and studying historical weather data from around the globe.



Watts found that the wildfires across North America are nothing new and have nothing to do with climate change, despite what the mainstream media claims.



He notes that in the 21st century, there have actually been far fewer wildfires than in the past.



According to Watts:



Rather than focusing discussion on what the real or imagined harms may be, how to mitigate them, and how to help people, climate activists are taking the opportunity to blame “climate change” for the smoke.



The reality is wildfires are becoming less frequent and severe as the planet modestly warms.



As wildfires become less frequent, it is nonsensical to blame the few wildfires that remain on climate change…



Peer-reviewed studies and verified satellite observations show beyond a shadow of a doubt that wildfires in the long term, mid-term, and short term have become less frequent and less severe as the Earth modestly warms.



The likely reason is the measured increase in evaporation from the world’s oceans, which has resulted in more frequent global precipitation.



Slay News reports: That’s not the most disturbing part of the story, however.



When discussing the “modest warming” that the planet has exhibited, the claims must be backed up by solid data.



But as Dr. Watts has examined weather stations around the country, he has discovered that the available data may be nearly useless when attempting to quantify very slight changes in average temperatures.



The claims about warming are completely flawed because more than 90% of the data is “corrupted,” Watts warns.



And the reason for that is the reality that the vast majority of thermometers that NOAA relies on are improperly installed and maintained.



This leads to the recording of artificially higher temperatures.



Watts explains:



A new study, Corrupted Climate Stations: The Official U.S. Surface Temperature Record Remains Fatally Flawed, finds approximately 96 percent of U.S. temperature stations used to measure climate change fail to meet what the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) considers to be “acceptable” and uncorrupted placement by its own published standards.



The report, published by The Heartland Institute, was compiled via satellite and in-person survey visits to NOAA weather stations that contribute to the “official” land temperature data in the United States.



The research shows that 96% of these stations are corrupted by localized effects of urbanization – producing heat-bias because of their close proximity to asphalt, machinery, and other heat-producing, heat-trapping, or heat-accentuating objects.



In order to produce accurate temperature readings based on NOAA’s own published standards, thermometers are supposed to be in natural, “pristine” locations such as fields, forests, or hilltops.


However, Dr. Watts’ research has revealed that more than 90% of NOAA thermometers are in inappropriate places.



96% are in parking lots, on buildings, against brick walls, or in other artificial environments.



The bricks, asphalt, and other human construction materials used in these environments artificially trap heat, leading to a “warming bias” in the collected data.



Thermometers placed in natural settings register lower average temperatures.



That’s not to say that the cities, parking lots, and highways aren’t warmer. They clearly are.



But it’s not because the planet overall is getting warmer.



It’s because we build things that trap and retain more heat than Mother Nature would capture and retain if left to her own devices.



These areas also have multiple man-made influences on temperatures such as vehicles, heaters and air conditioning units, subways, and more people, etc.



Sadly, these facts are ignored by corporate media reports on the so-called “climate crisis.”



Data showing that global temperatures are not increasing wouldn’t make any money for people like “climate czar” John Kerry and his private jet-setting friends, so you’ll never hear them endorse it.

WEF Demands Ban on Public Driving Cars to Stop ‘Global Boiling’

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is demanding that governments around the world begin prohibiting members of the public from driving cars in order to stop so-called “global boiling.”



Arup Group, which is an official WEF partner, released a report insisting that the consumption of clothing, cars, electronics, and food must be drastically reduced in order to “save the planet.”



However, according to the report, the elites will be totally exempt from the new rules due to the fact that they are “part of the solution.”



The report touts the WEF’s “Net Zero” carbon goals which are laid out in the Paris Climate Accord:



On construction, cities need to change what types of buildings and infrastructure are built as well as what materials are used.



On transport, private car ownership needs to end and the shared vehicles that replace it have to use less materials and be longer lasting.



Urban residents will also need to adopt a largely plant-based diet, mostly replace flying with less energy-intensive forms of long-distance transport, change how clothes and textiles are consumed and keep electronics and household appliances for longer.



The report goes on to state:



C40 cities need to meet their Deadline 2020 commitments so that production-based emissions peak by the early 2020s, before collectively halving by 2030, in order to achieve net carbon neutrality by 2050…this report recommends that C40 cities focus on reducing emissions within six consumption categories: buildings and infrastructure; food; private transport; clothing and textiles; aviation; and electronics and household appliances.



A key part of the WEF’s “Great Reset” agenda is the idea that members of the public will surrender all property, privacy, and rights and allow the government, and unelected bureaucrats, to control every aspect of life.



The WEF infamously coined the phrase: “You will own nothing and be happy.”



According to the WEF and its allies, we will all be eating bugs and living in tiny prison-like apartments in “15-minute cities.”



Will will no longer be able to travel or make our own choices and will presumably be wearing a uniform.



If the WEF gets its way, there won’t be much of a planet left to “save” anyway.

Biden ‘Close’ to Declaring ‘Climate Emergency’ to Ration Gas, Electricity, Meat

Joe Biden is “close” to signing an executive order to declare a “climate emergency,” granting the Democrat president sweeping new powers to enforce lockdowns and other tyrannical measures in order to “save the planet” from “global warming,” a public policy think tank is warning.



According to the Heartland Institute, “the signs are there” that Biden will declare a “climate emergency” that would see “gas rationing, restrictions on electricity use, and limits on air travel.”



The move would also place limits on meat and dairy consumption in order to meet the “Net Zero” goals of the globalist green agenda.



The Heartland Institute says insiders have revealed that the Biden administration has been working with the United Nations (UN) to prepare for the authoritarian restrictions.



Amid the behind-the-scenes maneuvering, the UN’s website has just been updated with a new “climate emergency” page.



“The science is clear,” the UN website states.



“The world is in a state of climate emergency, and we need to shift into emergency gear.



“Humanity’s burning of fossil fuels has emitted enough greenhouse gases (GHGs) to significantly alter the composition of the atmosphere and average world temperature has risen between 1.1 and 1.2°C.



“And for every degree in rising temperatures, the cost of adaptation will rise exponentially.



“GHG emission must peak now yet the gap between ambition and action is growing.



“We have the solutions we need and many will reduce emissions, contribute to climate adaptation, create jobs, restore the natural environment, and encourage good investments.”



The news comes as the corporate media has been ramping up reports on recent heatwaves by linking the hot weather to “climate change.”



As Slay News reported last week, in an interview with the Weather Channel, Biden revealed that the federal government is “preparing the military” to “deal with the climate stuff.”


The president then falsely claimed he has declared a “climate emergency” as he casually brushed a bug off of the reporter’s chest.

When Biden claimed last week that he’s “already” declared a climate emergency, it wasn’t true, or the plan wasn’t public knowledge at least.



However, many believe that the new temperature numbers, which are issued on August 15 by NOAA, maybe all the justification Biden needs.



The “melting in Antarctica and the supposed subsequent sea level rise” will be another, and the Maui wildfires will be cited as yet another, according to the Heartland Institute.



Biden could be planning to declare a “climate emergency” shortly after the NOAA data is released, possibly as early as this week, the organization suggests.



The president has also come under mounting pressure from the Democrats and their allies in the corporate media to make such a declaration.



As Slay News reported, radical Democrat Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) took to social media on Friday to deceitfully blame the wildfires in Hawaii on an alleged “climate crisis.”



In an alarmist post on Twitter, Bush used fearmongering tactics to advance her socialist green agenda by claiming that the so-called “climate crisis is here” and is “killing people.”



“My heart breaks hearing of the devastation in Maui,” Bush tweeted while sharing a post from NBC News on the fires.



“The climate crisis is here and its [sic] killing people,” she falsely claimed.



“It’s time for @potus to declare a climate emergency,” Bush added.



Other Democrat lawmakers also pushed fearmongering climate alarmism while commenting on the fires.



“Heartbreaking fires in Hawaii!” Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) posted.



“Scientists are clear that climate chaos wreaking havoc on ecosystems everywhere is the new norm,” he falsely alleged.



“We need to take action immediately or else it will get even worse.”



“My prayers are with all impacted by the devastating wildfires in Maui,” Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) tweeted.



“#CA12 & the rest of the country stand ready to assist in the recovery.



“The climate is in crisis, and it’s not up for debate.



“We must declare a climate emergency & act before more lives are lost.”



The Democratic National Committee shared a video that featured a split screen showing fires on one side and Republican figures on the other side making comments that go against climate alarmist ideology.



The clip included President Donald Trump disputing “global warming” claims and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis saying that he opposes politicizing the weather.



“Another horrific disaster made catastrophically worse because of climate change,” the text of the Democrats’ post read.



“And Republicans are still denying the climate crisis.”

Dozens more Democrats and environmental groups have also been aggressively pushing the idea.



About 60 congressional Democrats recently backed legislation known as the “Climate Emergency Act of 2021.”



The bill, sponsored by Democrat Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), would require the Biden admin to make a climate-related emergency declaration.



A number of corporate media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, have floated proposals such as purposefully implementing “blackouts” to “help solve climate change,” as Slay News reported.



An article published last week by British left-wing newspaper The Guardian calls on the Biden admin to “declare a climate emergency” and states that it “must do so now.”



The Heartland Institute isn’t the only group warning of a looming climate emergency declaration either.



As Slay News reported recently, several energy industry insiders warned earlier this month that Biden’s administration is preparing to declare a “climate emergency” with Covid pandemic-like restrictions on public freedoms.



Energy industry groups fear the Biden White House is planning to declare a pandemic-like emergency that will grant the president sweeping new powers.



“They’re leaning to that direction,” U.S. Oil and Gas Association President Tim Stewart told Just the News.



“If you grant the president’s emergency powers to declare a climate emergency, it’s just like Covid.”



A “climate emergency” declaration could give Biden and the Democrats “vast and unchecked authority to shut down everything from communications to infrastructure,” warns Stewart.



“They can literally do exactly what they did in Covid,” Stewart said.



“If you disagree with the climate emergency, [speech] can be shut down.



“We really need to be paying attention to that because that power could be extended indefinitely until the ‘climate emergency’ is over.



“Who knows how long that would last.”



The warnings come after a video emerged of World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab’s daughter gloating that “climate lockdowns” are coming, as Slay News reported.



Nicole Schwab said during a WEF panel discussion that tyrannical restrictions during the Covid pandemic served as a precursor to coming “climate lockdowns.”



According to Nicole Schwab, Covid was a “tremendous opportunity” to test how the public would comply with authoritarian measures that could be used to usher in the WEF’s “Great Reset” agenda.



The WEF’s promotion of the “climate crisis” narrative seeks to “create a change that is not incremental…to position nature at the core of the economy,” according to the younger Schwab.

Cameras Go Up to Punish Drivers in the Name of Climate Change – Then Vigilantes Strike

A major city has instituted a draconian law to satisfy the climate change religion backed up by a mass surveillance camera network resulting in a defacto tax costing residents hundreds. And authorities are shocked that citizens are taking matters into their own hands by vandalizing and disabling the Big Brother cameras that monitor compliance.



Citizens of London are furious over the city’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) rules that renders a large section of the city practically inaccessible by car because there are very few vehicles that meet the draconian emissions standards that permit them to enter the zone, according to The Drive.



London city officials have designated a 147 square-mile sector as its pollution-free Ultra Low Emission Zone, supposedly to clean up the air quality in the city that was once derided as “The Big Smoke” due to its air pollution.



The idea is to discourage citizens from driving in this zone by charging them fines for driving the wrong kind of auto into the area. Officials hope that citizens will get the message and buy vehicles that have higher emission standards and stop using their older vehicles.



To achieve this, officials have set up a massive network of hundreds of cameras that monitor the streets and take photos of every car on the road. This photo is then compared to vehicle registrations which tell the computer system whether the license plate is on a car that meets the standards.

If the car does not meet the standards, the owner is sent a $15.88 fine per day. And if the fines are not paid, they will be charged an additional $288.71 on top of the missed fines.







Even worse, the ULEZ has no grandfather clause for people who live and work in the area and no immunity for them from the ULEZ rules.



In other words, citizens were instantly barred from driving to the grocery store, their schools, their church, or their jobs unless they want to pay an additional $16 a day fine.



This means that the second the ULEZ surveillance system was switched on, millions of residents were made instant climate change criminals whose only choices are to suffer a $16 a day tax/fine, to stop driving at all, or be forced to spend up to $50,000 or more to buy a new car, such as an electric vehicle, that meets the new ULEZ standards.



Naturally, residents are not amused.



The problem is about to get even worse because London’s city hall has announced that it intends to expand this zone to over 600 square miles and to include an additional five million residents next year — all of whom will similarly become instant criminals once the new zone takes effect.



London Mayor Sadiq Khan described the plan as “transformational” and was excited to announce that “five million more people will be able to breathe cleaner air and live healthier lives,” the Metro reported.



Some residents inside the ULEZ, though, are not sitting idly by and allowing city hall to oppress them with these draconian climate change rules.



A group calling themselves the “ULEZ blade runners” is striking back and has engaged in a massive act of civil disobedience by vandalizing, disabling, or blocking the Big Brother surveillance system with which Mayor Khan has burdened them.



One man who claims to belong to this group told the Daily Mail that he and his fellow blade runners are trying to “wake up the sleeping masses.”



“There are 24 hours in a day. We either fight it or accept it. We do whatever we can,” the man said. “What we will achieve by our actions is the removal of the infrastructure and waking up the sleeping masses to what is really going on.”



“We are going to take down every single one no matter what,” another protester told the paper.



Fed-up citizens have used cordless impact tools to actually remove the cameras and tote them away, they have cut wires to make them inoperable or somehow obscured the camera lenses by covering them by various means such as bags or paint splashes.



Officials reported that 96 cameras were affected in one way or another in May, but since then the police have mysteriously stopped reporting on the number of cameras damaged or blocked.



One London Metropolitan Police report had said that about a dozen cameras are being vandalized per week in the capital city of a nation increasingly trending towards authoritarianism.



Naturally, the police department has announced that it has created a new unit to track down such scofflaws in an effort the department is calling “Operation Eremon.” The LMP, though, did not elaborate on how this unit will operate and what methods it will sue to catch the vandals.



City hall is also trying to denigrate the blade runner groups as mere “vandals” who have no purpose other than to act like punks.



“It is deeply disappointing to see opposition to a policy being used as an excuse for criminal damage,” a city representative said. “This petty vandalism of London’s essential transport infrastructure is completely unacceptable.”



Clearly city hall does not want to admit that these residents have a legitimate beef with their out-of-control government as elites who are nearly unaffected by these draconian rules place huge burdens on the lower and middle classes and make the lives of citizens worse.



These pitiful attempts to satisfy the global warming high priests really have little to no impact on the climate, especially since these same elites utterly ignore — and even sanction — the far worse acts of climate destruction being wrought by China and in the third world.



This ULEZ policy is just more proof that the elites care more about their agenda than they do about the lives of their own citizens.

14 U.S Cities Planning to Ban Meat, Dairy, Private Cars by 2030

14 American cities have set a “target” to comply with the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) green agenda goals by banning meat, dairy, and private car ownership by 2030.



The U.S. cities have formed a coalition called the “C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group” (C40).



The C40 has established an “ambitious target” to meet the WEF’s goals by the year 2030.



To fulfill the “target,” the C40 Cities have pledged that their residents will comply with the following list of mandatory rules:



“0 kg [of] meat consumption”

“0 kg [of] dairy consumption”

“3 new clothing items per person per year”

“0 private vehicles” owned

“1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person”

The C40 Cities’ dystopian goals can be found in its “The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World” report.



The report was published in 2019 and reemphasized in 2023.



The organization is headed and largely funded by Democrat billionaire Michael Bloomberg.



Nearly 100 cities across the world make up the organization.



The American city members of C40 include:

Media coverage of C40 Cities’ goals has been relatively sparse.



However, the few media personalities and news outlets who have discussed it have reportedly been heavily attacked by the corporate “fact-checkers.”



In a “fact check” aimed at conservative commentator Glenn Beck, AFP Fact Check claimed that the banning of meat and dairy and limits on air travel and clothing consumption were actually “not policy recommendations.”



AFP quotes a paragraph from the original “The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World” report, which reads:


“This report does not advocate for the wholesale adoption of these more ambitious targets in C40 cities; rather, they are included to provide a set of reference points that cities, and other actors, can reflect on when considering different emission-reduction alternatives and long-term urban visions.”



But this paragraph, likely included in the report as a liability in the case of pushback, seems to directly contradict the meaning of “target,” which in this context can be defined as a “desired goal.”



The target of eliminating meat, dairy, and private vehicles by 2030 is “based on a future vision of resource-efficient production and extensive changes in consumer choices,” the report notes — something its authors clearly hope to bring about.



If these were not their goals, they would not have labeled them “ambitious targets.”



The “fact-checker’s” insistence that C40 Cities’ explicitly stated climate goals are somehow insincere is even more unconvincing, given that we are watching them start to unfold right now.



This year, in lockstep with C40 Cities’ 2030 aims, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that the city will place caps on the amount of meat and dairy served by city institutions, such as schools and prisons.



Meanwhile, the U.K. has banned the sale of new gas-powered vehicles after 2030, and France has banned short-haul flights “to cut carbon emissions.”



In 2020, the World Economic Forum (which promotes C40 Cities on its website) introduced “The Great Reset,” which seeks to use the Covid pandemic as a point from which to launch a global reset of society to supposedly combat climate change.



This reset, however, has far more to do with social control than it does with the climate.



If globalist leaders truly cared about the environment, they wouldn’t be chartering private jets or owning massive, energy-consuming mansions on the coast in California, which, by climate fanatics’ own calculation, will soon be underwater.



As the WEF plainly stated in a 2016 promotional video, by 2030 “You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy.”



Right now, hedge funds and private billionaires are buying up residential homes and farmland all over the world.



At the same time, unrealistic zero-emissions policies are impoverishing Westerners and annihilating the middle class, which is fueling reliance on centralized government.



Such intentional steps backward also, ironically, harm the earth because wealthier nations are proven to have cleaner environments and put less strain on natural resources.



Climate activists are also advocating for “climate lockdowns,” in the same way there were Covid lockdowns.



Ideas floated for a climate lockdown have ranged from shuttering people in their homes and restricting air travel to providing a Universal Basic Income and introducing a maximum income level.



Climate dystopianism doesn’t end there. WEF-linked “bioethicist” Dr. Matthew Liao has proposed the idea of scientists genetically modifying humans to be allergic to meat, as Slay News reported.



Liao has also discussed shrinking the physical size of humans via eugenics or hormone injections so they consume fewer resources.



All of these policy proposals appear even more unreasonable and illogical when we actually evaluate the data.



According to the International Disaster Database, deaths related to extreme heat, floods, storms, and droughts have plummeted as C02 emissions have risen.



The fossil fuel economy has provided billions of people with heating, air conditioning, weather warning systems, mass irrigation, and durable buildings.



This isn’t to say that we shouldn’t try to limit carbon emissions.



Environmentally friendly nuclear energy, which is safe and more reliable than wind and solar energy, is a great way to wean our society off of our reliance on fossil fuels.



The globalist climate activists, however, oppose nuclear energy, further undermining their supposedly good intentions.



Ultimately, the climate coalition’s goals are inherently anti-human. People generally need meat and the protein it provides to flourish.



Banning meat and dairy, restricting calories, genetically altering the human body, and impoverishing the masses will hurt the planet and people.

Renowned Climate Scientists Warn Public: Green Agenda Based on ‘Hoax’

Two of the world’s most renowned climate scientists have spoken out to warn the public that the green agenda being peddled by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and its globalist allies is based on a “hoax.”



As Slay News has extensively reported, governments around the world are scrambling to meet the “Net Zero” goals of the green agenda.



This destructive agenda is being led by the WEF and other similarly-aligned unelected bureaucratic organizations such as the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO).



The alleged goal of the green agenda is to fight the so-called “global warming/climate change/global boiling crisis.”



However, meeting these goals means ramping up taxes, stripping the public of basic freedoms, and drastically lowering the quality of life for the general population.



But as the corporate media continues to increasingly stoke fear in the public about the claimed “threat” from the “climate crisis,” actual experts are now starting to come forward to dispute the so-called “settled science.”



Democrat President Joe Biden’s WEF-aligned administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just introduced new rules to cut CO2 emissions in electricity generation, to supposedly fight “climate change.”



Two prominent climate scientists are pushing back, however, warning in recent testimony that new EPA regulations “will be disastrous for the country, for no scientifically justifiable reason.”



William Happer, professor emeritus in physics at Princeton University, and Richard Lindzen, professor emeritus of atmospheric science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), have both gone on the record to warn that the claims made by Biden’s EPA are based on a “hoax” and only serve to advance the globalist green agenda.



Citing extensive data to support their case, Happer and Lindzen argue that the claims used by the EPA to justify the new regulations are not based on scientific facts but rather political opinions, globalist narratives, and speculative models that have consistently proven to be wrong.



“The unscientific method of analysis, relying on consensus, peer review, government opinion, models that do not work, cherry-picking data and omitting voluminous contradictory data, is commonly employed in these studies and by the EPA in the Proposed Rule,” Happer and Lindzen testified.



“None of the studies provides scientific knowledge, and thus none provides any scientific support for the Proposed Rule.”



“All of the models that predict catastrophic global warming fail the key test of the scientific method: they grossly overpredict the warming versus actual data,” they stated.


“The scientific method proves there is no risk that fossil fuels and carbon dioxide will cause catastrophic warming and extreme weather.”



Climate models like the ones that the EPA is using have been consistently wrong for decades in predicting actual outcomes, Happer warns.



However, such fearmongering data serves well when it comes to pushing the public to comply with unpopular policies.



“That was already an embarrassment in the ‘90s when I was director of energy research in the U.S. Department of Energy,” he said.



“I was funding a lot of this work, and I knew very well then that the models were overpredicting the warming by a huge amount.”



He and his colleague argued that the EPA has grossly overstated the harm from CO2 emissions while ignoring the benefits of CO2 to life on Earth.



Many who have fought against EPA climate regulations have done so by arguing what is called the “major questions doctrine.”



The argument is that the EPA does not have the authority to invent regulations that have such an enormous impact on Americans without clear direction from Congress.



Happer and Lindzen, however, have taken a different tack.



They argue that the EPA regulations fail the “State Farm” test because they are “arbitrary and capricious.”



“Time and again, courts have applied ‘State Farm’s’ principles to invalidate agency rules where the agency failed to consider an important aspect of the problem, or cherry-picked data to support a pre-ordained conclusion,” they stated.



The case they referred to is the 2003 case of State Farm v. Campell (pdf), in which the Supreme Court argued that “a State can have no legitimate interest in deliberately making the law so arbitrary that citizens will be unable to avoid punishment based solely upon bias or whim.”



According to Happer and Lindzen’s testimony, “600 million years of CO2 and temperature data contradict the theory that high levels of CO2 will cause catastrophic global warming.”



They present CO2 and temperature data indicating much higher levels of both CO2 and temperatures than today, with little correlation between the two.



They also argue that current CO2 levels are historically at a low point.



“The often highly emphasized 140 [parts per million] increase in CO2 since the beginning of the Industrial Age is trivial compared to CO2 changes over the geological history of life on Earth,” they stated.



In addition, the scientists’ testimony to the EPA stated that the agency’s emissions rules fail to consider the fact that CO2 and fossil fuels are essential to life on earth, particularly human life.



“Increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere create more food for people worldwide, including more food for people in drought-stricken areas,” they stated.



“Increases in carbon dioxide over the past two centuries since the Industrial Revolution, from about 280 parts per million to about 420 ppm, caused an approximate 20 percent increase in the food available to people worldwide, as well as increased greening of the planet and a benign warming in temperature.”



More CO2 in the atmosphere leads to more plant growth and higher farming yields, they argued.



In addition, synthetic fertilizers, which are derivatives of natural gas, are responsible for nearly half the world’s food production today.



“Net zero” goals would reduce CO2 emissions by more than 40 gigatons per year, reducing the food supply proportionally, they said.



In addition to disregarding the benefits of CO2, they stated that the EPA’s emission rules and the “global warming” narrative that has been used to justify them are based on a hoax.



In addition to teaching physics at Princeton, Happer’s decades of work in physics has focused on atmospheric radiation and atmospheric turbulence, and his inventions have been used by astronomers and in national defense.



“Radiation in the atmosphere is my specialty and I know more about it than, I would guess, any climate scientists,” Happer said.



His expertise, he said, “involves much of the same physics that’s involved in climate, and none of it is very alarming.”



The “global warming” narrative argues that as people burn fossil fuels, they emit higher concentrations of carbon dioxide into the Earth’s atmosphere, which absorbs sunlight and creates a “greenhouse effect,” trapping the Sun’s radiation and warming the Earth.



But Happer warns that one aspect of CO2 emissions that “global warming” models fail to take into account is a phenomenon called “saturation,” or the diminishing effect of CO2 in the atmosphere at higher concentrations.



“At the current concentrations of CO2, around 400 parts per million, it decreases the radiation to space by about 30 percent, compared to what you would have if you took it all away,” Happer said.



“So that’s enough to cause quite a bit of warming of the Earth, and thank God for that; it helps make the Earth habitable, along with the effects of water vapor and clouds.”



“But if you could double the amount of CO2 from 400 to 800, and that will take a long time, the amount that you decrease radiation to space is only one percent,” Happer said.



“Very few people realize how hard it is for additional carbon dioxide to make a difference to the radiation to space.



“That’s what’s called saturation, and it’s been well-known for a century.”



In addition to scientific arguments about why global warming is overblown, the scientists also cite data showing large discrepancies between global warming models and actual observations.



In some cases, Happer and Lindzen say, data has been disingenuously manipulated to fit the climate-change narrative.



“The most striking example of that is the temperature record,” Happer said.



“If you look at the temperature records that were published 20 years ago, they showed very clearly that in the United States by far the warmest years we had were during the mid-1930s.



“If you look at the data today, that is no longer true,” he said.



“People in charge of that data, or what the public sees, have gradually reduced the temperatures of the ‘30s, then increased the temperature of more recent measurements.”



Misleading data is often used by the EPA as proof of “global warming,” Happer and Lindzen note.



According to the renowned climate scientists, the government uses data that appears to show “daily temperatures.”



However, the EPA is actually showing a “ratio” of daily record highs to lows.



The use of this data in fearmongering charts is “designed to create the impression that temperatures are steadily rising,” they warn.



By contrast, the scientists confirm that historical data indicates significantly higher temperatures in the 1930s versus today.



Proponents of the global warming narrative often state that it is “settled science” and that nearly all scientists agree that global warming is real and the result of human activity.



According to an official NASA statement, “the vast majority of actively publishing climate scientists—97 percent—agree that humans are causing global warming and climate change.



“Most of the leading science organizations around the world have issued public statements expressing this, including international and U.S. science academies, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and a whole host of reputable scientific bodies around the world.”



A report by Cornell University states that “more than 99.9% of peer-reviewed scientific papers agree that climate change is mainly caused by humans, according to a new survey of 88,125 climate-related studies.”



But Happer argues that consensus is not science.



Happer cites a lecture on the scientific method by renowned physicist Richard Feynman, who said, “If it disagrees with experiment, it’s wrong.”



“Science has never been made by consensus,” Happer said.



“The way you decide something is true in science is you compare it with experiment or observations.



“It doesn’t matter if there’s a consensus; it doesn’t matter if a Nobel Prize winner says it’s true, if it disagrees with observations, it’s wrong,” he said.



“And that’s the situation with climate models.



“They are clearly wrong because they don’t agree with observations.”



The National Library of Medicine cites a speech by physician and author Michael Crichton at the California Institute of Technology in 2003 in which he said, “Consensus is the business of politics.”



“Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world,” Dr. Crichton said.



“In science, consensus is irrelevant.



“What are relevant are reproducible results.”



“The initial predictions of climate disasters had New York flooded by now, no ice left at the North Pole, England would be like Siberia by now,” Happer said.



“Nothing that they predicted actually came true.



“You have to do something to keep the money coming in, so they changed ‘global warming’ to ‘climate change.’”



The warnings from Happer and Lindzen come as several top scientists have started to speak out against the green agenda.



As Slay News recently reported, one of the world’s most influential climate scientists has blown the whistle with an explosive admission by warning the public that claims of a “crisis” related to so-called “global warming” are “manufactured.”



Judith A. Curry is an American climatologist and former chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology.



For years, Curry has been one of the leading voices warning that the Earth is facing an “emergency” due to allegedly “man-made climate change.”



However, Dr. Curry, a renowned climatologist, has just admitted that the fearmongering “science” has been fabricated in order to scare the public into believing we must fight a “climate emergency.”



“It’s a manufactured consensus,” Curry told the New York Post.



As Slay News reported last month, Dr. John Clauser, the co-winner of the 2022 Nobel Physics prize and one the world’s leading authorities on quantum mechanics, has also spoken out to warn the public that the “climate crisis” narrative being pushed by the global elite and their allies in the corporate media is a hoax.



He blasted “climate emergency” claims as a “dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people.”



Clauser, who was also awarded the 2010 Wolf Prize in Physics, the second most prestigious physics award after the Nobel, warns that misguided climate science is a hoax that is being driven by “massive shock-journalistic pseudoscience.”



These views are also echoed by renowned environmentalist Dr. Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Greenpeace.



Moore is also warning the public that the anti-carbon dioxide narrative is a scam, as Slay News previously reported.



Moore, an ecologist and environmental activist for more than 50 years, argues that an increased level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is beneficial.



According to Moore, claims that “climate change” is “human-caused” are “propaganda” which he describes as “dangerous.
