Gun-Control Advocates Press Obama to Turn His Tears Into Action

President Barack Obama’s emotional call for “meaningful action” after yesterday’s shooting at a Connecticut elementary school may signal he’s prepared to push for stronger gun-control laws, a politically fraught issue he shied away from during his first term.

The killings of 20 children and seven adults, Obama said, created an imperative to stem gun violence.

“As a country, we have been through this too many times,” he said at the White House, pausing several times during his remarks to collect himself as tears welled in his eyes. “And we’re going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this regardless of the politics.”

You know what amazes me? The utter stupidity of people....

I just had an argument with a friend on FB who can't understand how armed citizens are what prevent a dictatorial government from taking over. She asked me how citizens sitting at home with guns on their laps can stop a government. DUH!!!! I told her to look at Stalin, Mao, Polpot....

Must be all the fluoride in the water...it's making people downright dumb.

To be honest, I don't feel sorry for them anymore; I just don't care. Maybe they'll wake up during the tribulation...maybe they won't. I don't care, because the hate the truth and lap up the lies.

I wish I could Emo. If you lived closer to me I would give you one of my Son-In-Law's - I'm sure he wouldn't mind. If it got to that point (a complete ban) then of course he'd give you one (plus the ammo). He's got several (he's a hunter). He's also a dad and he'd want another dad to be able to protect his family.

My parents just bought a rifle the week before all this happened. Couldn't have purchased it at a better time.

They are so stupid soon they will have to ban chairs because you can kill people with a chair ...then there are cars also
