This is amazing. I had no idea that the cars that women are driving are being targeted in many ways in order to expose them for a future carjacking.

The last one with the shopping cart - That's why it is always best to back into a parking spot.



Better yet, find where there are two open spots, and pull through to the second one to be facing out.



Two reasons:



One is obvious. You can see what is in front of you and can pull straight out. You aren't blindly backing into traffic.



And no one can pull an insurance scam on you and claim you backed into them and hit them.



Second - should your battery go dead, it's a whole lot easier to have someone jump start you.

Another trick they do is wedge a plastic bottle behind your passenger tire and wheel liner. You pull forward and hear a "crunch" go out to inspect it and then someone jumps in your car and takes off.
