Subpoena Update: James Comer Captures Nearly All Hunter Biden’s Bank Records

Nearly all of Hunter Biden’s bank records subpoenaed by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) are in the hands of the committee, Comer said Friday.



The near conclusion of the subpoena process signals the committee’s next step of requesting the Bidens appear before the committee under oath.

Comer subpoenaed the personal and business bank records of Hunter and James Biden on September 28 to investigate the link between Joe Biden and his family’s foreign deals.



Speaking with Lou Dobbs on the The Great America Show with Lou Dobbs, Comer confirmed the committee subpoenaed Hunter Biden’s bank records. “We’ve gotten almost all the bank records in,” he said.



“It’s been a long process because, Lou, he [Hunter Biden] has so many bank accounts,” Comer said, explaining the complexity of the process. “He would have one shell company with a dozen bank accounts.”



Comer, a former bank board member, accused the Bidens of running a scam. “They laundered money,” he said.



“Because we got these bank accounts, we’re very close to bringing in the Bidens,” Comer said about demanding their testimony. “I would say it’s a matter of days before they get served.”

Comer said the outstanding bank records are relevant to the questions he hopes to ask the Bidens under oath. “I think that we’ve just about got enough bank records to where we can bring them in and ask them specific questions with specific hard evidence in the form of bank statements,” he said.



On Wednesday, Comer alleged Joe Biden received $40,000 in laundered CEFC China Energy Co. money in 2017 from the account of his brother, James Biden, and sister-in-law, Sara Biden, once again in the form of a personal check labeled as a “loan repayment.”



Comer’s revelation is the second instance where Joe Biden accepted a personal check from his brother James Biden, who was involved in the Biden family’s business ventures.



Comer told Dobbs the checks are “direct evidence” that Joe Biden “benefited financially” from the Biden business.



Ian Sams, a White House spokesperson, claimed Wednesday that Comer’s claims are “lies and conspiracy theories.”



Comer pledged to continue the investigation into Joe Biden. “We continue — on at least a weekly basis — to come up with more evidence, more checks, more wires,” Comer told Dobbs.

Hunter Asks Biden-Appointed US Attorney to Investigate Biden Crime Family Whistleblower Tony Bobulinski – Oversight Committee Responds

Hunter Biden asked Biden-appointed US Attorney Matthew Graves to investigate Biden Crime Family whistleblower Tony Bobulinski over potential false statements to the FBI.



Recall that Tony Bobulinski, a retired lieutenant in the US Navy, was the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings which was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family.



Bobulinski has repeatedly stated that he met with Joe Biden numerous times to discuss Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals.



“There are hundreds of data points that Joe Biden was acting in – in a capitalistic term, I would say the chairman,” Bobulinski told Tucker Carlson in an interview last year.


Bobulinski also accused Hunter Biden of committing fraud against his business partners by secretly funneling over $5 million into his own investment firm.



On October 22, 2020, Bobulinski held a press conference where he confirmed Joe Biden lied about his involvement with Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals.



He also revealed Joe Biden, AKA, “The Big Guy” would get a 10% cut of his deals through SinoHawk.



“In numerous communications with Hunter, Walker, Gilliar, and Jim Biden regarding the allocation of the equity ownership of SinoHawk, on May 13, 2017, I received an email concerning allocation of equity which says, ‘10% held by H for the big guy.’ In that email there’s no question that ‘H’ stands for Hunter, ‘big guy’ for his father, Joe Biden,” Bobulinski said.



Bobulinski continued, “In fact, Hunter often referred to his father as ‘the big guy,’ or ‘my chairman.'”



Tony Bobulinski said it was made clear to him not to mention Joe Biden’s involvement in writing.

The Biden clan is now trying to intimidate a potential witness in the Oversight Committee’s investigation into Joe Biden’s crimes. Hunter Biden is asking a US Attorney appointed by his own father to go after Tony Bobulinski.



Hunter’s lawyer Abbe Lowell said in a letter to Matthew Graves that contrary to what Bobulinski claims, he was not in Miami in 2017 for a meeting with Hunter Biden and other associates to discuss a joint venture with Ye.

Hunter Biden has asked the top federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C., to investigate a former business associate, alleging he lied to the FBI about their business relationship, according to a copy of a letter obtained by NBC News.



The business associate, Tony Bobulinski, has said in several media interviews that 10% of a business deal involving a Chinese company and its executive Ye Jianming, was to be reserved by the partnership for the “big guy,” whom he identified as Joe Biden.



“Specifically, we recently received information demonstrating that numerous statements made by Mr. Bobulinski in Washington, D.C. during an interview with the FBI on October 23, 2020, concerning our client, Hunter Biden, are false,” Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, wrote in the letter, dated Oct. 7.



“The materials reveal the extraordinary lengths Mr. Bobulinski and other individuals were willing to go to implicate Mr. Biden or members of his family in some false and meritless allegations of wrongdoing,” Lowell wrote. “Even in an era in which people peddle knowing lies with the goal of their falsehoods being repeated and disseminated for their political advantage, these statements by Mr. Bobulinski cannot and must not go unchecked.”



The Oversight Committee responded.



“Hunter Biden and his legal team are once again attacking anyone who speaks out against the Bidens,” the Oversight Committee said. “This time, their target is Tony Bobulinski, a potential witness in our investigation.”



“We will not tolerate witness intimidation. The truth will come out soon enough despite the Biden team’s threatening tactics,” the Committee said.



“We will give Hunter the opportunity to clear the air and speak with us soon,” they said.

Joe Biden is refusing to hand over loan documents to the House Oversight Committee proving any ‘loans’ he provided to his brother James Biden.



The House Oversight Committee has no IRS records or loan documents confirming the $200,000 check Jim Biden wrote to his brother Joe Biden in 2018 was a ‘loan repayment.’



House Oversight Chairman James Comer demanded IRS records and applicable loan documents proving Joe Biden loaned his brother James money.



The Bidens often structure their income as ‘loans’ to avoid paying taxes. We saw this with a $5 million wire described as an ‘interest-free loan’ (a way for Hunter to avoid paying taxes) from a Chinese firm. The Bidens then shuffle the dirty money around to each other as ‘loan repayments.’ This is classic tax evasion, money laundering, and influence-peddling.


James Comer recently uncovered a $200,000 direct payment to Joe Biden.



In 2018, Jim Biden received $600,000 in ‘loans’ from Americore Health LLC, a failing/bankrupt rural hospital operator. According to bankruptcy documents, Jim Biden received the loans “based upon representations that his last name Biden could open doors and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.”



On March 1, 2018, Americore Health LLC wired a $200,000 payment to Jim and Sara Biden’s personal bank account. On that very same day, Jim Biden then wrote a $200,000 check to Joe Biden, AKA, “The Big Guy.”



Jim Biden wrote the check to Joe Biden as a so-called “loan repayment.” Does Joe Biden have documents proving he lent his brother such a large sum of money? “What were the terms?” Comer asked.





Last Thursday House Oversight Chairman James Comer demanded Joe Biden provide loan documents (loan payment, loan agreement) and IRS filings regarding the $200,000 “loan repayment” James Biden said he made to Joe “The Big Guy” Biden in 2018.



On Friday night, the Republican-led Oversight Committee said Joe Biden is refusing to provide applicable loan documentation to show he loaned his brother James Biden money.

The White House today made clear to us that President Biden is refusing to hand over loan documents for any “loans” he provided to his brother, James Biden.

James Comer said there appears to have been no interest paid on the “loan” based upon the White House’s own representations. “The current lack of documentation leaves reason to doubt claims that this transaction was repayment for a legal loan,” Comer wrote in a letter to White House Counsel Edward Siskel.



“Whether it was a loan or not, James Biden’s March 1, 2018, check to Joe Biden demonstrates one way he personally benefited from his family’s shady influence peddling of his name and their access to him. Even if the transaction in question was part of a loan agreement, we are troubled that Joe Biden’s ability to recoup funds depended on his brother’s cashing-in on the Biden brand,” Comer said.

National Archives Withholding 99.98% of Pages of Joe Biden’s Private Pseudonym Emails From Congress; Comer Alleges Obstruction

The National Archives is withholding 99.98% of Joe Biden’s alias emails, according to House Oversight Chairman James Comer.



The National Archives previously confirmed through a FOIA response that they found 5,138 email messages and 25 electronic files pertaining to the known Joe Biden pseudonym accounts [e-mail], [e-mail] and [e-mail].



After missing the deadline to turn over the requested documents, the National Archives said it located 82,000 pages of emails then-Vice President Joe Biden sent or received on three separate private pseudonym accounts to conduct illicit business deals with foreign officials.



NARA was forced to search for Biden’s pseudonym emails in response to a FOIA lawsuit filed by the Southern Legal Foundation, a conservative nonprofit law firm.


“NARA has completed a search for potentially responsive documents and is currently processing those documents for the purpose of producing non-exempt portions of any responsive records on a monthly rolling basis,” A report from NARA stated, according to Just The News. “Given the scope of Plaintiff’s FOIA request, which seeks copies of all emails in three separate accounts over an eight-year period, the volume of potentially responsive records is necessarily large.



“NARA has identified approximately 82,000 pages of potentially responsive documents, and it is currently processing those documents and preparing any non-exempt responsive documents for production on a rolling basis,” the report said.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer on Tuesday accused the Biden administration of obstructing his impeachment inquiry, revealing it has turned over to congressional investigators just 14 of the 82,000 pages of emails that the National Archives located from Joe Biden’s private pseudonym email accounts.



Comer vowed to escalate his efforts to gain access to the emails in a statement just one day after Just the News reported that the National Archives had identified in a court filing a massive trove of private emails from Joe Biden’s vice presidency.



“The National Archives has identified 82,000 pages of emails where then-Vice President Joe Biden used a fake name, but the Biden White House has only cleared 14 pages in response to multiple Oversight Committee requests for documents related to then-Vice President Biden,” Comer told Just the News.



“This lack of transparency from the self-identified ‘most transparent administration in history’ is looking more like obstruction every day,” he added. “Congress needs full access to these records and others as part of our investigation into Joe Biden and the Biden family’s corruption. The House Oversight Committee will continue to use the power of the gavel to obtain records necessary to our investigation.”

Comer Vows Subpoenas for ‘Tax Cheats’ Joe & Hunter Biden

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has vowed to issue subpoenas for Democrat President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.



Comer slammed the Biden family as “tax cheats” and warned they will be served with “two dozen” subpoenas in the coming days.



The top Republican said his committee is upping the ante on its investigations into the Biden family’s overseas business dealings.



Comer issued the warning during an interview with Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”



The congressman is leading the House investigation into Hunter Biden’s foreign business entanglements.



He is looking to determine what role President Biden may have played in any dealings.



Republicans allege the president has financially benefited from business deals made by his family members with foreign nations.



Some believe that Joe Biden is, in fact, the head of the family business, and not Hunter.



Last week, Comer said that President Biden received $40,000 in “laundered China money” in 2017.



The money received was from the bank account of his brother and his sister-in-law in the form of a personal check.



Biden has repeatedly denied any involvement with his son’s business dealings.



Bartiromo when asked if the Kentucky Republican plans on questioning Hunter and Joe Biden and “getting subpoenas out.”



“We’ve always planned on doing that,” Comer replied.


“This has been a painful process, Maria.



“We’ve been obstructed.



“We’ve been followed at every turn, not just by the Bidens’ big money attorneys, but also by the federal government.



“The IRS is obstructed. The DOJ is obstructed.



“The Treasury has obstructed,” he said.



“FBI has obstructed, and the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have pretty much been the Biden legal defense team.”



Comer said the other House oversight members can “connect the dots” on a series of financial transactions between the president and his family members that he said amount to “money laundering.”



“This was very organized,” he said.



“And the reason they did these complicated transactions, was to disguise the source of the revenue and to deceive the IRS from paying taxes.”



Comer argued that in the coming weeks, the Biden family will claim the funds were loans “because you don’t have to report loans on your taxes.”



“If you’re the IRS and you’re just looking at someone’s taxes, you would never know that Joe Biden got two checks for loan repayments – $200,000 and $40,000,” Comer said.



“You wouldn’t know about all the money that we’re going to show that James Biden took in and Hunter Biden took in from loans.



“It’s an integral part of money laundering, where you deceive from the IRS about the revenue you’re taking.



“In other words, you’re a tax cheat.”

Biden Family Whistleblower Tony Bobulinski Issues Challenge: ‘Hunter, Jim, Joe & I Should Testify before Congress, Publicly & Under Oath’

Hunter Biden’s former business partner-turned-whistleblower Tony Bobulinski has issued a challenge to the Democrat president and his family.



Bobulinski is a Navy veteran who worked with Hunter and his uncle Jim – Joe Biden’s brother – on a deal to invest in China in 2017.



In 2020, Bobulinski confirmed emails from Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop that indicated that Hunter Biden was holding ten percent of the profits from shady foreign deals for a mystery partner known only as “the big guy.”



Many believed that “the big guy” was a reference to Joe Biden.



Bobulinski produced a May 2017 email detailing a proposed equity split for a Chinese investment.



That email included the suggestion of “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy.”



Bobulinski has confirmed that “the big guy” was a reference regularly used for Joe Biden, who served as Obama’s vice president until January 2017.



Despite Bobulinski’s assertion that Joe Biden played a key role in the deals and secretly took a 10% cut, “the big guy” has always insisted that he was not involved in “Hunter’s” business dealings.



Last week, Hunter Biden’s Hollywood lawyer, Abbe Lowell, wrote a letter to prosecutors claiming that Bobulinski has lied to the FBI.



In response, Bobulinski has laid down the gauntlet to the Bidens, challenging the family to join him in providing public sworn testimony.



“If Hunter Biden and the Biden family are so determined to ensure that the full truth is put before the American people, Hunter, Jim, Joe and I should all appear together before Congress, publicly and under oath,” Bobulinski said in a statement to Fox News.



“They can name the date, time, and place, and I would certainly be willing to do that for the American people.”



Bobulinski said that Lowell’s letter is not true.


“All of the allegations contained in Mr. Lowell’s 10-page letter to U.S. Attorney Graves are patently false, and I look forward to exposing these lies and laying out the facts in a public forum in short order,” said Bobulinski.



“The sad thing for our country is that Hunter, Jim, and Joe Biden along with Abbe Lowell know they are all false and are trying to weaponize the DOJ against me.”



Lowell, in his letter to Matthew Graves, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, claims Bobulinski “lied about the business discussions among the partners involved” in the joint venture.



The high-profile celebrity attorney accused Bobulinski of “making things up” and is urging Graves to investigate him.



Bobulinski insists he is not political.



However, Lowell claims Bobulinski is making the claims because he is intent on attacking the Bidens.



“The materials reveal the extraordinary lengths Mr. Bobulinski and other individuals were willing to go to implicate Mr. Biden or members of his family in some false and meritless allegations of wrongdoing,” Lowell wrote.



“Even in an era in which people peddle knowing lies with the goal of their falsehoods being repeated and disseminated for their political advantage, these statements by Mr. Bobulinski cannot and must not go unchecked.”



Hunter Biden’s business deals are being investigated by several committees in Congress.



The House Oversight, House Judiciary, and House Ways & Means Committees are all probing the Biden family’s shady business dealings.



In a post on Twitter/X, the Oversight Committee responded to the letter by accusing Lowell of attempting to intimidate Bobulinski, who might be called to testify.

The House Oversight Committee on Wednesday subpoenaed Hunter Biden, James Biden and their former business associate Rob Walker for in-person depositions as part of their impeachment inquiry.



Comer also requested transcribed interviews from Hallie Biden – Beau Biden’s widow-turned-Hunter Biden’s girlfriend, Sara Biden (James Biden’s wife) and Melissa Cohen (Hunter’s current wife).

Hunter’s Lawyer Asks Speaker Johnson to Block ‘Partisan’ House Investigations into Biden Family

Hunter Biden’s celebrity lawyer has called on House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to step in and block the ongoing investigations into the Democrat president and his family.



Hunter’s Hollywood attorney Abbe Lowell asked Johnson to stop House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) from “continuing their partisan political games.”



The three top Republican lawmakers are currently leading the House impeachment inquiry against President Biden.



Lowell penned a lengthy letter to Johnson on Wednesday, asking him to use his “newly minted leadership post responsibly.”



He called on the speaker to “think twice before joining” the “spectacle” of House Republican-led investigations into Hunter and the Biden family’s business dealings.



“Before you cast your lot with and cede additional authority to those who have betrayed the trust placed in their offices by the Constitution, you should consider the numerous lies, falsehoods, and fabricated illustrations by your chamber’s chairmen in the course of peddling baseless allegations of misconduct by our client or his family that now will form the basis for them abusing their power with improper demands for records and testimony,” Lowell wrote.



“Even in the era of ‘alternative facts,’ your colleagues’ manipulation and disregard for the truth is breathtaking,” Lowell continued.



“Please remind those who sat with you on November 1 what you recently said: that House Republicans have a ‘constitutional responsibility to follow th[e] truth,’ wherever it leads, and you promised to ‘only follow facts’ and not ‘use this for political partisan games.’”



“These chairmen are about to ignore your admonition by continuing to pursue baseless allegations,” he added.



Hunter Biden’s lawyer slammed GOP lawmakers, saying they are “using ‘oversight’ proceedings to distort text message conversations” between Hunter and James Biden.



He also alleged they are “falsely claiming a Burisma executive asked for Hunter Biden’s help to stymie efforts of a Ukrainian prosecutor general,” among other lines of inquiry.



Lowell also tried casting whistleblower allegations as false.



“Mr. Speaker, over the past few months, these three chairmen and various of their colleagues have participated in interviews and led or attended many proceedings regarding the investigation (and now prosecution) of our client,” Lowell wrote.


“They have dumped into the public transcripts of interviews and entire IRS case files that they were given as part of that investigation, and they have adopted so-called ‘whistleblowers’ to champion their efforts (while ignoring other witnesses) despite often-contradictory narratives.”



“When another law enforcement agent or U.S. Attorney has contradicted a witness’s past statements, one or another of these three ‘don’t let the facts get in the way’ chairmen either ignore or misrepresent what the witness said as mere inconvenient truths,” Lowell continued.



“Their clear willingness to bend the facts, at any cost, to support a distorted and made-up version of events is stunning but has become the norm of many in the Republican Party’s baseless inquiries into Hunter Biden and his family.”



“Now, perhaps believing he has your blessing, Chairman Comer announced he will plow ahead by issuing around two dozen new subpoenas. Two dozen,” Lowell said.



“Ending this letter the way it began, we want to go back to our hope that you will be a different Speaker — one who restores the integrity and reputation of your chamber; one who, as you promised, ‘restore the people’s faith’ and ‘regular order’ in the House; and one who declared his role would be to ‘only follow facts’ and not use this for political partisan games,” he wrote.



“This can begin with your holding Chairmen Comer, Jordan, and Smith to the facts and stopping them from continuing their partisan political games,” he continued.



“The latest example of their hoping to do the opposite is ripe for your intervention.”



“We look forward to working with you in your new role as Speaker of the House,” Lowell added.



However, the letter didn’t exactly go down well with Johnson.



In response, Raj Shah, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications for House Speaker Mike Johnson, dismissed Lowell’s letter.



“President Biden and the White House have repeatedly lied to the American people about his involvement and knowledge of the Biden family’s business dealings – receiving millions through their shell companies – from foreign adversaries,” Shah said in a statement.



“We have learned this because of the diligent work of House investigators, who will continue to follow the facts where they may lead.

White House: Biden Family Subpoenas Are ‘Nasty Personal Smears’

The White House has responded after the Republican-led House Oversight Committee issued subpoenas for serval members of Democrat President Joe Biden’s family.



On Wednesday, Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) issued subpoenas for the Bidens to testify under oath before Congress in December.



Comer subpoenaed the president’s son Hunter and his brother James (Jim) Biden.



Longtime Biden family associate Rob Walker was also called to testify under oath.



The subpoenas are a major step forward in the GOP-led House impeachment inquiry into President Biden.



Joe Biden has repeatedly insisted that he was never in business with his Biden family.



However, mounting evidence suggests otherwise.



Comer wants to question Walker about his receipt of a $3 million payment,



That payment was later split between four Biden family members including Hunter, James, and Hallie (Joe Biden’s late son Beau’s wife and Hunter’s former lover).



The fourth cut of the payment was for an unidentified “Biden.”



Comer has also requested that several family members and whistleblower Tony Bobuliski appear before the committee.



The chairman didn’t issue subpoenas for Bobuliski or the other family members, however.



The family members asked to appear before the committee include Sara Biden (James Biden’s wife), Hallie Biden, Elizabeth Secundy (Hallie Biden’s sister), and Melissa Cohen (Hunter Biden’s current wife).


White House spokesman Ian Sams fired back at Comer over the requests.



“They’re all private citizens,” Sams posted on Twitter/X.



“He won’t be, but Comer should be ashamed of desperately resorting to nasty personal smears like this.”



Comer’s Wednesday subpoenas follow recent investigations into the Bidens’ shady foreign dealings.



In September, Comer issued subpoenas for the bank records of James and Hunter Biden.



Comer’s subpoena saw the Oversight Committee obtain pages of bank records that gave a far broader picture of the family’s foreign influence peddling schemes.



The bank records have provided evidence against Joe Biden that contradicts his past claims about his family business.



The records show direct financial links between the president and the Biden family business



Meanwhile, evidence emerging from the impeachment inquiry against President Biden is continuing to stack up.

The House 'Concentrates The Mind' Of Hunter Biden With A Game-Changing Subpoena

Below is my column in the Messenger on the issuance of House subpoenas to the Biden family, including Hunter Biden. The move dramatically changes the profile of the investigation and the perils for the Biden family. After these subpoenas were issued, the House also subpoenaed an array of Biden associates connected to his alleged influence peddling or his art sales. After following the transfer of millions in foreign money, the Committee is drawing closer to the epicenter of the Biden family.







Here is the column:



The great English writer Samuel Johnson once told a friend, “Depend upon it, sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully.”



The quote came to mind after reading the response of Abbe Lowell, legal counsel for Hunter Biden, to the issuance of subpoenas for Hunter and other family members by the House Oversight Committee. Lowell said that “Hunter is eager to have the opportunity, in a public forum” — but premised that on the condition that it be “the right time” for Hunter to speak. He also dismissed the committee investigation as a “political stunt.”



It appears that further concentration is warranted.



A congressional subpoena is really not an invitation for a sit-down at a convenient time.



Hunter has spent years relying on denial and delay to fend off inquiries. With this subpoena, he will now have to choose between cooperation or contempt … on the committee’s schedule.



The issuance of subpoenas to Hunter, his uncle, James Biden, and Biden family associate Rob Walker, changes the entire threat — and the range of options — for the Bidens. Attorney General Merrick Garland moved quickly and aggressively to prosecute Trump associates such as Steve Bannon who failed to appear or cooperate with Congress. The public will demand the same vigorous prosecution in the face of any similar contempt by Biden associates.



Moreover, Hunter has tried a wide array of approaches to these allegations of influence peddling, from a plea for sympathy to threats of litigation. Too many in the media have been willing enablers of these shifting claims, including figures like Jimmy Kimmel who conducted a softball interview that portrayed Hunter as a hero rather than an alleged influence peddler.



That may now change. If Hunter lies to congressional investigators, he can be charged with a federal crime. While the Justice Department allowed the statutes of limitations to run on various felonies, Hunter would be faced with a new set of charges with years for criminal charges to be brought by prosecutors.



The situation is equally serious for the president’s brother, James, who has long been accused by House Republicans of influence peddling. Most recently, House investigators disclosed that, in 2018, James Biden received two loans totaling $600,000 from Americore Health, which they described as “a financially distressed and failing rural hospital operator.” The company has been referenced in past reports of alleged influence peddling by James Biden.



According to the company’s bankruptcy proceedings, it made the loans “based upon representations that his last name, ‘Biden,’ could ‘open doors’” to new overseas investors. On the day he received the second loan transfer, James Biden allegedly sent a check for the same amount — $200,000 — to Joe Biden as a “loan reimbursement.”



The House committee also reports finding a $40,000 check from James Biden and his wife to Joe Biden. Again, it was marked as a “loan reimbursement.”



Congressional interviews can be perilous, but they are far more so when your client’s interview will cover years of transactions and statements. It presents a target-rich environment for investigators and ample opportunities for witnesses to make misleading or false statements.



Hunter and his uncle may soon have company. In addition to a subpoena for Biden family associate Rob Walker, the House committee has requested voluntary transcripted interviews with Sara Biden, Hallie Biden, Elizabeth Secundy, Melissa Cohen and onetime Hunter business associate Tony Bobulinski.



Figures like Bobulinski are likely to cooperate. He already has accused President Biden of lying about his lack of knowledge of foreign dealings, including giving detailed accounts of meeting with Joe Biden in a hotel.



However, committees often first request voluntary interviews before issuing subpoenas. As with Hunter and James Biden, the committee has ample grounds to demand these interviews as part of both its impeachment inquiry and its oversight authority.



In anticipation, perhaps, Hunter is reviving his addiction defense, even claiming that the investigations into his conduct are a blow against anyone who is fighting addiction. It is a curious effort since his counsel recently claimed that federal gun charges are invalid because his client had a period of sobriety just in time to sign the allegedly false gun application. That is the type of fluid, conflicted narrative that can produce criminal charges in congressional investigations.



Samuel Johnson’s observation is particularly poignant in this case, given the subject. It was a reference to William Dodd, an Anglican clergyman, accused of being a spendthrift who became indebted due to his extravagant lifestyle. He forged a document to secure a “loan” to help clear his debts. Johnson tried unsuccessfully to keep him from the gallows, but he wrote a sermon before his death, titled, “The Convict’s Address to his unhappy Brethren.” Johnson was widely believed to have been the true author and defended his friend by saying that the hanging brought out the best of him.



It remains to be seen if these subpoenas will bring out the best or worst of Hunter Biden. Thus far, he has received every break from federal prosecutors, from expired statutes of limitations to reported tip-offs on investigators’ interviews. That will now change. Either Hunter will concentrate his mind, or congressional investigators will do it for him.

Comer: Biden’s Brother Has ‘Signaled’ That He Will Cooperate with Investigators

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has revealed that Democrat President Joe Biden’s brother James has “signaled” that he’s willing to start cooperating with investigators.



Comer confirmed on Friday said attorneys for James Biden indicated that he will cooperate with an investigation into the family’s business dealings and influence-peddling schemes.



Comer dropped the bombshell during a Friday appearance on “Just The News, No Noise” on Real America’s Voice.



“[W]e have heard from James Biden’s attorney, and they have signaled that he will come and answer questions in front of the House Oversight Committee, and we’re very appreciative of that,” Comer told co-hosts John Solomon and Amanda Head.



Comwer continued:



“We have as you know, the IRS notes that the IRS whistleblowers turned over from his interview with the FBI.



“We also have the bank records that I’ve subpoenaed.



“So we have several specific questions for James Biden.



“And yes, he will be an absolutely crucial witness to our investigation and help us continue to connect the dots as to what exactly the Biden family was doing to receive millions of millions of dollars from our enemies around the world.”

Comer issued subpoenas to the Biden family and business associates on November 8.



The House Oversight Committee is seeking interviews with Hunter Biden, James Biden, Sara Biden, business associates Rob Walker and Tony Bobulinski, and other Biden family members.



In a memo released in September, the Committee estimated the Biden family and business associates received at least $24 million from 2014 to 2019.


In August, the House Oversight Committee released bank records showing that Hunter Biden received millions of dollars from Russian oligarch Elena Baturina.



Republican Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) said in an August Fox Business appearance that she believed the payments to the Biden family were in excess of $50 million.

Hunter Biden is willing to testify before the House Oversight Committee on December 13, his lawyer said Tuesday — but only in a public hearing.



Hunter Biden would be a key witness in the House’s impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, pending the committee’s approval.



Abbe Lowell, Hunter Biden’s lawyer said his client would only be willing to testify in a public setting but not behind closed doors as the committee asked:



We have seen you use closed-door sessions to manipulate, even distort the facts and misinform the public.


We therefore propose opening the door. If, as you claim, your efforts are important and involve issues that Americans should know about, then let the light shine on these proceedings.

Mr. Biden will appear at such a public hearing on the date you noticed, December 13, or any date in December that we can arrange.


House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) replied to Lowell via X Tuesday morning:



Hunter Biden is trying to play by his own rules instead of following the rules required of everyone else. That won’t stand with House Republicans.


Our lawfully issued subpoena to Hunter Biden requires him to appear for a deposition on December 13.


We expect full cooperation with our subpoena for a deposition but also agree that Hunter Biden should have opportunity to testify in a public setting at a future date.


House Republicans subpoenaed both Hunter and James Biden in their probe of the president. James Biden is reportedly in communication with the committee about the subpoena.

Hunter Biden Throws Past Friend Under the Bus, Demotes Him from Family Member to 'Inmate'

First son Hunter Biden’s new legal and public relations strategy is apparently to distance himself from his former friend and business partner Devon Archer by calling him “inmate.”



Biden is slated to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding his and his family’s shady overseas business dealings and Archer was right in the thick of it.



Archer provided damning testimony to the Oversight Committee last summer. More on that in a moment.



The New York Sun reported that Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell sent a letter to the committee Tuesday describing Archer as “an inmate convicted for his involvement in a tribal bond scheme that never involved Hunter.”



“Archer was sentenced last year to one year and one day in federal prison for defrauding a Native American tribe in a scheme involving $60 million in bonds,” according to the Sun.

“His conviction was overturned on appeal, then reinstated after prosecutors pushed back. Archer, who argues he lost money on the tribal venture and was guilty only of making foolish mistakes, has appealed his conviction to the Supreme Court.”



The U.S. attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York told the Sun that Archer has not reported for prison yet, meaning he is not “an inmate.”



Given the millions in tax evasion and gun charges Biden has likely been able to avoid thanks to special counsel David Weiss’ foot-dragging, he and Lowell really should be keeping their mouths shut.



Archer reached out to Biden via text in 2019 to ask why Joe Biden hadn’t done more to protect him from prosecution. The texts were found on Biden’s abandoned “laptop from hell.”

“Why did your dad’s administration appointees arrest me and try and put me in jail?” Archer texted Hunter. “Why would they try and ruin my family and destroy my kids and no one from your family’s side step in and at least try to help me?”

The first son responded that his father had no control over such prosecutions.

“There’s no connection between the two, the same the justice department can investigate and prosecute this president and his family it does for all administrations. It’s democracy,” he wrote. “Three co equal branches of government.”



But Hunter went on to assure Archer that he was a part of the Biden family. “Every great family is persecuted. … You are part of a great family — not a side show, not deserted by them even in your darkest moments,” he wrote. “That’s the way Bidens are different, and you are a Biden.”



Since the 2020 presidential campaign, Joe Biden has insisted that he was not involved in his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings.



But a transcript of Archer’s closed-door testimony before the Oversight Committee in July suggested otherwise.



Archer confirmed that Joe Biden attended at least two dinners with Hunter’s business associates, including one in April 2015 at which Vadym Pozharsky, an executive with the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings, was present.



Archer recounted that in December 2015, he and Hunter traveled to Dubai to participate in a Burisma board meeting. Pozharsky and Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky were also in attendance.



At one of the meetings, Archer said the Burisma executives asked Hunter to “call D.C.” in relation to the heat they were feeling from Ukrainian prosecutors.



“They requested Hunter, you know, help them with some of that pressure,” Archer said. “You know, government pressure from Ukrainian government investigations into Mykola.”



Fox News reported that “on Nov. 2, 2015, just weeks before the board meeting in Dubai, Pozharskyi emailed Hunter Biden, emphasizing that the ‘ultimate purpose’ of the agreement to have Hunter on the board was to shut down ‘any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine,’ referring to Zlochevsky, who also went by Nikolay.”



“The request is like, ‘Can D.C. help?’” Archer recalled, adding that the Burisma executives did not specifically ask Hunter to get his father involved. “It was always this amorphous, ‘Can we get help in D.C.?’”



Hunter did make a call to D.C. from Dubai, according to Archer. However, he was not privy to what was said.



“I was left out of these, you know, black box D.C. types of conversations,” Archer explained.



But five days after the phone call, then-Vice President Joe Biden gave a speech in Ukraine, saying, “The office of the general prosecutor desperately needs reform.”



That office was led by Viktor Shokin, who was investigating potential corruption at Burisma at the time.

Joe Biden was the Obama administration’s point man on Ukraine while Hunter served on Burisma’s board, earning $1 million per year.



The elder Biden eventually demanded then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko fire Shokin or forfeit $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees.



At a Council on Foreign Relations meeting in January 2018, Joe Biden spoke proudly about what transpired.



“I said, ‘I’m telling you, you’re not getting the $1 billion. … I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” he recalled telling Poroshenko.



“Well, son of a b****, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” he added.


It’s no wonder Lowell is trying to discredit Archer ahead of Hunter Biden’s House Oversight testimony.



Archer knows where the bodies are, so to speak, and adds credence to the allegations the Bidens engaged in public corruption.

Just-Released Bank Records Show Joe Biden Received Monthly Payments from Hunter's Business Entity

A business operated by Hunter Biden made monthly payments to President Joe Biden, House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer said Monday.



To back up his words, Comer released a partially redacted September 2018 bank record he said was subpoenaed by the committee that showed $1,318 flowing from Owaso PC to Joe Biden. The money in the Owasco PC account had its origins in China.



A release on the committee’s page noted that “Hunter Biden is currently under an investigation by the Department of Justice for using the Owasco PC corporate account for tax evasion and other serious crimes.”



The release added that “Hunter Biden’s business account, Owasco PC, received payments from Chinese-state-linked companies and other foreign nationals and companies.”



The release alleged that the bank records are proof Joe Biden was involved in his son’s businesses, despite Joe Biden’s past denials, saying they are “part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefited from his family’s influence-peddling schemes.”



The committee posted a video to X in which Comer sought to explain the panel’s finding.



“President Joe Biden claimed there was an ‘absolute wall’ between his official government duties and his family’s influence-peddling schemes. This was a lie,” Comer said.



“President Joe Biden claimed his family didn’t receive money from China. This was a lie. President Joe Biden claimed he never spoke to his son, Hunter Biden, about the Biden family’s shady business dealings. This was a lie,” Comer added.



“Now, Hunter Biden’s legal team and the White House’s media allies claim Hunter’s corporate entities never made payments directly to Joe Biden. We can officially add this latest talking point to the list of lies,” Comer said, referring to the subpoenaed bank records.


“This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world,” Comer said.



“We’ve revealed how Joe Biden received checks from his family that were funded by the Bidens’ influence peddling schemes — with China no less. The House Oversight Committee continues to investigate Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s domestic and international business schemes at a rapid pace,” Comer said.



“President Biden and his family must be held accountable for this blatant corruption,” Comer concluded.

Last week, the panel released an email from a bank investigator who noted concerns over money coming to Hunter Biden from China, according to a release on the website of the House Oversight Committee.



“Long before our investigation into President Biden’s corruption, a bank money laundering investigator raised the exact concerns that we raised publicly about the Biden family business,” Comer said in the release.



The panel released the redacted text of the June 2018 email on its website.



“These payments were Indicated as management reimbursements. We find It unusual that approximately 58% of the funds were transferred to the law firm In a few months and the frequency of payments appear erratic. It was also previously indicated that HUDSON WEST III LLC does not currently have any investment projects at this time, which raises further concerns as millions in fees are being paid but does not appear to have any services rendered by Owasco PC,” the bank official wrote.



Referencing “recent negative news” indicating “China targeting children of politicians and purchase of political Influence through ‘sweetheart deals.’” The official noted, “Hunter Biden’s $1.5 billion dollar deal with the Chinese-State to establish a private-equity firm In which they manage the funds over time and make huge fees” before concluding that “the activity on the account appears unusual with no current business purpose.”

Biden accused Republicans of “holding Ukraine’s funding hostage with their extreme, partisan border policies.”



After the remarks, New York Post reporter Steven Nelson asked Joe Biden about his involvement with his son Hunter’s foreign business associates.




“There’s polling by the Associated Press that shows that almost 70 percent of Americans including 40 percent of Democrats believe that you acted either illegally or unethically in regards to your family’s business interests,” Steven Nelson said.



Nelson continued, “Can you explain to the Americans — to Americans, amid this impeachment inquiry, why you interacted with so many of your son and brother’s foreign business associates?”



Biden snapped at the NY Post reporter: “I’m not going to comment on that. I did not. And it’s just a bunch of lies.”



Steven Nelson pushed back: “You didn’t interact with —”



“They’re lies!” Biden said.



Nelson hit back: “Any of their business associates?”



“I did not. They’re lies,” Biden said as he walked away from the lectern.

In addition to meeting with Hunter Biden’s associates, Joe Biden has also received dirty money from China and other countries.



House Oversight Chairman James Comer on Monday released subpoenaed bank records revealing Joe Biden received direct monthly payments from Hunter Biden’s business entity, Owasco PC.



Millions of dollars from China were funneled to Hunter Biden’s investment vehicle Owasco.







“Payments from Hunter’s business entity are now a part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefitted from his family’s influence-peddling schemes,” Chairman Comer said.



Chairman Comer also uncovered a $200,000 direct payment to Joe Biden after he received James and Hunter’s subpoenaed documents.



On March 1, 2018, Americore Health LLC wired a $200,000 payment to Jim and Sara Biden’s personal bank account. On that very same day, Jim Biden then wrote a $200,000 check to Joe Biden, AKA, “The Big Guy.”

Attorneys for Hunter Biden have claimed that recently uncovered payments that funneled into his father’s bank account were payments for a car.



The recurring payments were made to Democrat President Joe Biden’s bank from his son’s Owasco PC account.



Hunter’s Owasco PC account received millions of dollars in payments from Chinese state-owned corporations.



In a statement, Hunter’s lawyer Abbe Lowell, Bill Clinton’s former impeachment attorney, mocked House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) for his characterization of the payments as proof that the president was involved in his son’s corrupt business dealings.



Lowell claims that three $1,380 payments between September and November 2018 were reimbursements on car payments for a truck that Joe Biden bought for Hunter when he couldn’t get credit.



“There Chairman Comer goes again — reheating what is old as new to try to revive his sham of an investigation,” Lowell said in a statement.



“The truth is Hunter’s father helped him when he was struggling financially due to his addiction and could not secure credit to finance a truck.



“When Hunter was able to, he paid his father back and took over the payments himself.”



A car dealership did confirm that Joe Biden bought a 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor truck for $67,000 for his son Hunter in June 2018.



Hunter traded in two other vehicles as part of the deal.



The deal and payments to his father are all on Hunter Biden’s laptop, according to the Wall Street Journal.



However, the payments are not specifically designated as car payments and there’s no evidence to confirm that this was the purpose of the transfers.



Further, Lowell didn’t explain why the payments didn’t equal the cost of the vehicle purchase.


Hunter Biden also bought the firearm for which he is being federally prosecuted around the same time.



Federal authorities allege that he lied on gun permit forms about his drug use, at the time.



“This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world,” Comer said about the findings.



“At this moment, Hunter Biden is under an investigation by the Department of Justice for using Owasco PC for tax evasion and other serious crimes.”



Comer said the payments “are part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefited from his family’s influence-peddling schemes.”



Comer said he doesn’t believe the payments are car payments and noted that Joe Biden had many meetings with his son’s business associates as the foreign payments were being made.



“As the Bidens received millions from foreign nationals and companies in China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Kazakhstan, Joe Biden dined with his family’s foreign associates, spoke to them by speakerphone, had coffee, attended meetings, and ultimately received payments that were funded by his family’s business dealings,” the committee added in a press release.



Comer also pointed out that there isn’t documentation that the payments were car payments.



Additionally, Comer noted that bank records prove that Hunter Biden could have easily afforded a car with the millions he was getting from foreign entities, without the need for credit or loans.



“They assume the majority of Americans at the end of the day are going to be financially illiterate,” he said during an appearance on Newsmax.



“People know that if you make a loan, you receive a loan repayment, you should have a copy of the check that you made the loan to.



“I mean they’re just not being honest with the American people.



“They want to say, ‘Well the president’s son couldn’t qualify for a truck loan’ for what, $40,000, but then China loans him $5 million, Russia loaned him $3.5 million, the list goes on and on.



“But he can’t even get a car loan? It makes no sense,” he said.



The Biden family has not satisfactorily explained another $40,000 payment to Joe Biden from his brother James.



That payment was flagged by the bank as suspected money laundering.

REVEALED: Banks Filed 6 Suspicious Activity Reports Flagging Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware Home Address

Senator Ron Johnson (WI) said Thursday evening that banks filed at least 6 suspicious activity reports (SARS) flagging Joe Biden’s home address.



“There’d be so much activity coming into his address, in this case, Hunter Biden’s businesses, that he obviously would have to be aware,” Johnson said of Joe Biden. “So, again, I just use the word obvious, It has been so obvious for so long, that Biden Inc. is a corrupt enterprise. And that this president is corrupt, that he is compromised,” Senator Johnson said Thursday night on Just The News, No Noise show.



According to Senate documents, SARS reported about $12 million in wires and transactions which used Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware address.



“We found six of the Treasury reports on Hunter Biden, listing his suspicious activities,” Johnson told Just The News. “The money flows in those reports are over $12 million. Now, there might be double counting in there, you just don’t really know exactly what the activity is. These reports are really meant to obviously raise awareness to prompt further investigation, which of course this Department of Justice, FBI, I don’t think did an honest job of doing.


“And he fully was aware of this, that he fully benefited from it. The members of his family benefited from all these these millions dollars flowing in from countries that are adversarial to America,” Johnson said.

Banks filed at least six reports concerning Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings that flagged President Joe Biden’s home address in Delaware and raised concerns about possible criminal activity involving money laundering or human trafficking, according to a U.S. Senator who investigated the first family’s finances for years.



Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, the top Republican on the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, told the Just the News, No Noise television show Thursday night that the Suspicious Activity Reports (SARS) chronicled about $12 million in transactions over several years, some of which passed through Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Del., home where he had allowed his son to stay.



Johnson said Joe Biden would have almost certainly known his son was using his home as a business and banking address, if nothing else from postal mail arriving at the location. He added that House impeachment investigators have plenty of grounds to question Joe Biden’s complicity in his son’s foreign dealings. The House is set to vote on formally authorizing an impeachment inquiry next week.



House Oversight Chairman James Comer in September revealed Hunter Biden received two bank wires from China and Joe Biden was listed as the beneficiary address for both wire transfers.



“The first wire sent to Hunter Biden, dated July 26, 2019, was for $10,000 from an individual named Ms. Wang Xin. There is a Ms. Wang Xin listed on the website for BHR Partners. It is unclear if the wire came from that Wang Xin,” according to Fox News.



“The second wire transfer sent to Hunter Biden, dated August 2, 2019, was for $250,000 from Li Xiang Sheng—also known as Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR Partners—and Ms. Tan Ling. The committee is trying to identify Ling’s role,” Fox reported.



“I just subpoenaed and obtained two bank wires revealing Hunter Biden received payments originating from Beijing in 2019 when Joe Biden was running for President,” House Oversight Chairman James Comer said on X.



“Joe Biden’s Delaware home is listed as the beneficiary address for both money wires from China,” Comer added.



“Bank records don’t lie but President Joe Biden does,” Comer said. “Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security. What did the Bidens do with this Beijing money? Americans demand answers and deserve accountability.”

Earlier this week House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) announced he plans to hold a vote next week on a formal impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden.

Comer: DOJ Indicted Hunter to Protect Joe Biden

House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) said Friday on CNN’s “The Lead” that he believed Hunter Biden was indicted by federal prosecutor David Weiss on nine federal tax counts on Thursday to protect his father President Joe Biden.



Comer said, “What he got charged with, with that indictment last night, that had nothing to do with all of the so-called loans that the Bidens have taken. We’ve identified, it appears, with the president’s son and brother, over $14 million in loans where it doesn’t look like they made any payments on, principal or interest. And what point do those loans, if you’re not going to pay ’em back, become income?



Comer added, “So, we think this is just the tip of the iceberg. We think there’s many more crimes. and my concern is that Weiss may have indicted Hunter Biden to protect him from having to be deposed in the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.”



Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Ah, yes, yes. He indicted him to protect him. Yess the classic rubric. He indicted him to protect him. I got it.”



Comer said, “Well, look, this whole thing Jake, you know, this whole thing’s been about a coverup. You know you’ve got two serious—

White House: Biden Bribery Scheme Allegations Are ‘Conspiracy Theories’

The White House has claimed that allegations of bribery, influence-peddling, and corruption against Democrat President Joe Biden and his family and nothing more than “conspiracy theories.”



On Monday, White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates refused to answer questions on “conspiracy theories” of corruption within the Biden family.



Bates was grilled about the many Biden family scandals as he spoke with reporters aboard Air Force One.



Questions are rightly mounting ahead of a likely House vote this week to launch a formal impeachment inquiry against President Biden.



The press also has questions about the possible appearance of his son, Hunter Biden, for a deposition before the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees on Wednesday.



“I am not going to weigh in on that process except to say that President Biden is laser-focused on the issues that matter most to American families,” Bates said.



“You see him today getting ready to deliver for firefighters in Philadelphia.



“Like I mentioned, we’re making a historic announcement in advanced manufacturing to keep bringing jobs back from overseas.”



“He’s focused on what matters to American families, not Marjorie Taylor Greene’s conspiracy theories about his own family,” he added.



Rep. Greene (R-GA) is a supporter of impeaching Biden and a member of the GOP often targeted by Democrats for political attacks.



House Republicans hope to hold the formal vote on whether to officially launch the inquiry this week.



However, they are facing opposition from Democrats and some members within their own party.



GOP opposition to the inquiry has been shrinking as those members representing districts Biden won in 2020 have begun to back the move.


This includes Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) who told Politico he was switching from opposing the inquiry to supporting it because of the increased likelihood Biden would cooperate.



“The president is saying he isn’t going to provide information until we get an inquiry, so I went from a no to a yes,” he told the outlet.



House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has spearheaded the sprawling investigation into Biden.



The probe has focused on Hunter, his various foreign business dealings, and the money he got from them.



The committee hosted an impeachment inquiry hearing in September as part of that probe.



The White House has repeatedly said that Biden did nothing wrong and had no knowledge of his son’s business dealings.



Additionally, the Oversight and Judiciary Committees posted an official notice last week for Hunter’s closed-door deposition on Wednesday.



The president’s son has so far been refusing to comply with the subpoena to testify behind closed doors.



Hunter’s attorney notified Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) last week that the president’s son would only appear for testimony before the committee in a public setting.



Comer and Jordan subsequently threatened to hold him in contempt of Congress if he fails to appear for his deposition.

Trouble has followed Sara Catherine Jones since she married into the Biden family almost three decades ago.



Not long after her 1995 wedding to Jim Biden, she took a job with one of his brother Joe’s Senate donors, who later accused her of “fraud” and “unjust enrichment,” according to court records reviewed by RealClearInvestigations. In the years since, she and her husband have been accused of reneging on debts and failing to pay their taxes, court and property records show. Like their nephew, first son Hunter Biden, they have reportedly sold the promise of access to their powerful relative to companies, several of which have gone bankrupt, some of which are tied to foreign countries hostile to the United States.



Now, Sara Jones Biden has emerged as a key figure in the mushrooming Biden foreign influence-peddling scandal.


GOP lawmakers seek to question the 64-year-old licensed attorney as part of their investigation of President Biden for possible impeachable offenses, including bribery. They are especially interested in subpoenaed bank records that include almost a quarter million dollars in checks Sara Biden wrote to her brother-in-law Joe, conspicuously marking them as “loan repayment.” Republicans want to ask her about the origin of those loans and whether checks “were funded by Biden influence-peddling schemes with China.”



“The Committees require you to provide details of these payments and other related matters,” the chairmen of the House Oversight and Judiciary committees said in a joint letter they sent to her last month demanding she make herself available for a transcribed interview. In addition, they sent a subpoena to her husband for testimony and information.



Although Hunter and Jim Biden’s questionable business dealings – and their possible blessing from the president – are drawing increasing scrutiny, Sara Biden has drawn little attention until now. But court records and other documents show she has been a central player in the Biden family business for decades. They show how her and her husband’s desire for a lifestyle they could not quite afford has repeatedly led them to form relationships with shady figures and enterprises that often ended in lawsuits and even criminal investigations.



Looming over it all is Joe Biden. Documents recently obtained by government watchdog America First Legal, under a Freedom of Information Act request, reveal that Sara and Jim’s main business, the Lion Hall Group, shows up in more than 3,735 emails generated by the former Vice President Biden’s office. The sheer volume of communications concerning his brother and sister-in-law’s business appears to contradict Biden’s repeated claims over the years that he was never involved in, or even aware of, his family’s business dealings.



A Match Made in Kentucky







Sara Biden’s links to Joe Biden date back to the early 1990s, when she landed a committee job with his close personal friend, Sen. Wendell Ford, a Kentucky Democrat.



“Sen. Ford has been an important part of our family for a long time,” Joe Biden said after Ford died in 2015. “He gave Sara Jones Biden, from Owensboro, Ky., her first job on the Hill when she graduated from Duke Law School, and that’s how she met my brother Jimmy.”

Report: Joe Biden Feels ‘Guilty’ About Hunter Biden Indictments

President Joe Biden reportedly feels “guilty” for his son’s legal woes, telling aides that Hunter Biden would not be facing scrutiny for the millions of dollars he raked in from foreign business deals had he not run for president.



Hunter Biden is facing 17 years for nine tax charges and is at the center of the House impeachment inquiry into his father, in which investigators are probing how the Biden family made tens of millions of dollars in China, Ukraine, and other corrupt countries with no discernible service rendered. Special Counsel David Weiss is allegedly not done investigating the Biden scion and has yet to indicate if he looked into the nature of Biden’s work on behalf of foreign entities.



The report, published by Axios, claims the president experienced mood swings and expressed “anger” and “sadness,” believing his run for office brought attention to his family’s sketchy foreign business that otherwise would not have received attention.



“The 81-year-old president has suggested to close associates that if he hadn’t run in 2020, Hunter wouldn’t be facing criminal prosecutions or be the target of daily stories by conservative media,” Axios reported. The president appears, according to Axios, to still be denying, even in private, the obvious merits of the investigation.



Weiss charged Hunter Biden on Thursday, asserting he was “engaged in a four-year scheme” to not pay at least $1.4 million in taxes “he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019 and to evade the assessment of taxes for tax year 2018 when he filed false returns.”



Weiss referenced money that flowed from Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings in the indictment. Weiss did not charge Hunter Biden for Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) violations. Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley believes Weiss’s tax indictment should have included FARA charges.



“The steps taken by Hunter to evade taxes are impressive, but not nearly as impressive as the efforts of the Justice Department to evade any reference to his father. In that sense, the indictment itself is a marvel of evasion,” Turley posted on X.



House investigators opened a probe into the Biden family in November 2022. They revealed Joe Biden received money from James Biden and Hunter Biden. They also showed that nine additional Biden family members received payments from the family’s foreign business ventures, including two of the president’s grandchildren.

Jim Jordan: Hunter’s Statement Indicates That Joe Biden Has ‘Been Involved’ in Business Dealings

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) has stated that Hunter Biden’s scripted speech from outside Congress may have implicated his Democrat president father for having “been involved” in his illegal business dealings.



Jordan noted that Hunter made a “huge change” to the narrative by saying President Biden was “not financially involved” in his business dealings.



As Slay News reported earlier, Hunter Biden defied his subpoena on Wednesday morning and refused to be deposed by congressional committees.



Instead, Democrat President Joe Biden’s son held a press conference to make his pitch to the corporate media.



Particular attention has been drawn to the moment that Hunter Biden maintained that his father “was not financially involved” in his business.



The first son claimed that there is “no evidence because it did not happen.”


Since the statement, social media has been flooded with critics who commented that Hunter emphasized the point that Joe Biden was “not financially involved” in the shady foreign deals.



Many argue that this suggests he was involved in some other way.



Also, the allegations that Hunter and Joe Biden took millions of dollars in illegal bribes would not qualify as being part of Hunter’s legitimate businesses.



Jim Jordan was among those who found the comment suspicious and argues that it also marks a “huge change” in what the Bidens are telling the public about the scandal.



The White House and Joe Biden have maintained that the president was “never in business” with his son.


Biden has also said he never spoke to his son about his business dealings.



However, Republicans have uncovered evidence to contradict those statements, including email records and testimony from Hunter Biden’s former business partners.



Shortly after Hunter’s public appearance, Jordan pointed out Biden’s changing narrative.



“I would just point out that I’ve had a chance to review what Hunter Biden said in his press conference,” Jordan said.



“I think he made an interesting statement.



“He said his father was not financially involved in the business.



“And I think that qualifier, the word ‘financially’ is important because once again, it shows another change in this story.”



Jordan continued, “First, it was no involvement.



“Then, ‘no one ever, never talked to anyone,’ and then we find out about the dinners, the meetings, the phone calls, everything else.”



“Now, it’s okay, he wasn’t involved in the business financially,” Jordan continued.



“I think that is important. It’s one of the reasons we want to talk to Hunter Biden.”



Jordan said the “biggest takeaway” from Hunter’s appearance was that statement about President Biden not being “financially” involved.



Jordan notes that the choice of words, which Hunter read from a pre-prepared statement, indicates President Biden may have been involved in his son’s business dealings in other ways.



“That is a huge change, which means — sort of means he’s involved,” Jordan said.



“I think that’s how anyone with common sense would read it.”



Jordan described the change as indicating President Biden has “been involved, just not financially.”



Jordan said that “is a huge departure from everything they’ve said now for the last three and a half years.”

President Biden, dating back to August 2019 on the 2020 campaign trail, said he “never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period.”



A month later, Biden said he had “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”



The next month, Biden said, “I don’t discuss business with my son.”



This summer, however, the White House made a change and began saying Biden was not “in business” with his son during his vice presidency.



“As we have said many times before, the president was not in business with his son,” White House counsel’s office spokesperson Ian Sams said in a June 29 statement.



During a July 24 briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made a similar assertion.



“The answer remains the same,” Jean-Pierre said.



“The president was never in business with his son.



“I just don’t have anything else to add.”



Jordan, House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY), and Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith (R-MO) wrote a letter to White House Counsel Stuart Delery in July to seek clarity on the shifting message.



Their July 27 deadline was ignored, however.



Hunter Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell, who also served as Bill Clinton’s impeachment lawyer, has also denied President Biden was linked to the deals.



In September, Lowell said he could “categorically” declare that President Biden was not involved in his son’s previous business dealings and did not profit from any of them.



“I can tell you that Hunter did not share his business with his dad,” Lowell told CNN in September.



“I can tell you that he did not share money from his businesses with his dad.



“And as the evidence out there, his dad, like all good parents, tried to help Hunter when Hunter needed that help.”



Meanwhile, Comer and Jordan last week threatened to hold Biden in contempt of Congress if he defied the subpoena and failed to appear for his deposition.



Comer and Jordan had vowed to release the full transcript of Hunter’s deposition if he did participate.



They also vowed to follow up by scheduling a public hearing for the president’s son to testify in a setting for the American people to hear from him directly.



Meanwhile, Comer and Jordan spoke to reporters, defending their “lawful subpoena of the president’s son.”



“This is a normal process in an investigation,” Comer said.



“This has been a serious investigation since day one — an investigation about public corruption at the highest level.”



Comer said he still expects to depose the president’s son.



“And then we will be more than happy to have a public hearing,” Comer said.



Jordan said if a public hearing took place first, as suggested by the first son, members would filibuster and delay lines of questioning.



“The way you get the facts is you bring people in for an interview behind closed doors,” Jordan said.



Lowell and the White House have argued that the subpoena was not valid because the House impeachment inquiry was never formalized by the full House of Representatives.



However, a vote to do so is expected later Wednesday.



“We think it is going to pass,” Jordan said. “We’ll see what their excuse is then.”



However, Jordan did say that once that vote takes place, he and Comer will, as promised, “move forward with contempt proceedings” against the first son.



Comer said that the committee has tens of thousands of documents prepared in the room where Hunter Biden was expected to testify.



He added that the committee has “specific questions for the president’s son,” and said the American people want this investigation.

2007 FBI Investigation Resurfaces – A Biden Is Clearly Heard on the Tapes

Out of all the topics the Joe Biden White House didn’t want to see in Sunday’s Washington Post, this had to be up there on the list.



The capital city’s newspaper of record published recordings Sunday of President Joe Biden’s brother, James, engaged in scoring off his famous last name during the late 1990s.



The fact that the recordings were made by FBI investigators couldn’t have made things easier in the Biden household either.



The Post article was headlined “James Biden’s dealmaking caught on FBI tapes in unrelated bribery probe,” and just the words alone had to be unsettling at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.



According to the Post, the tapes came to light after the Post received permission to review archives at the University of Mississippi compiled by author Curtis Wilkie, who wrote a book about attorney Richard “Dickie” Scruggs, a larger-than-life figure in the law world who engineered the landmark $248 billion 1998 legal settlement with the tobacco industry over its sales of a cancer-causing product.


Scruggs’ career didn’t end with the tobacco settlement — that took until 2007, when he was snared in an FBI sting operation trying to bribe a Mississippi judge.



And it was in that snare that James Biden’s voice recordings appear — not involved in bribery himself, but clearly as a figure whose last name meant a good deal to those trying to curry favor in Washington.



Scruggs, according to the Post, got to know the Bidens while he was trying to get a tobacco settlement through Congress. He needed Joe Biden’s support for that. And for that, he turned to James Biden.



“I probably wouldn’t have hired him if he wasn’t the senator’s brother,” Scruggs told the Post, echoing similar words that would later be spoken about Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.



“Jim was never untoward about his influence,” Scruggs said, according to the Post. “He didn’t brag about it or talk about it. He didn’t have to. He was the man’s brother.”



To be clear, the conversations where James Biden was recorded by the FBI were taken down as part of an investigation of Scruggs and his associates — not James Biden.



But they did capture a flavor of James Biden’s influence peddling — and that was just when his brother was a senator, not the vice president.

The first is of Tim Balducci, a lawyer and Scruggs associate who was planning to go into business with James Biden and another man as partners in a “consulting group,” as the Post put it. He was describing to James Biden a conversation he had with Scruggs about his hopes for the fledgling business.



“I told him we had formalized our relationship with you guys,” Balducci told Biden in the Sept. 27, 2007 conversation, according to the Post.



“I told him about the real Washington presence, that this was not going to be a bulls***, you know, a shingle hung somewhere in the window. That this was a real deal, that Sara was coming on, you know, as a named partner, an equity share in the venture, that we were changing the name of the firm to include her. … Hunter was going to be involved, and you were going to be involved.”



Yep. With Hunter and James Biden — along with James’ wife, Sara — this was going to be the “real deal,” all right.



The second is of James Biden speaking — apparently again to Balducci — on Oct. 15, 2007, about James Biden’s potential role as a consultant for the chief of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, who had applied with the Bureau of Indian Affairs to use 100 acres of tribal land to open a $375 million casino. That would need approval at the state and federal level, which is where the “consultant” work would come in.

So, but being a whore about it, OK, you know, like everybody just jumping in, like, ‘Let me do your insurance, let me do your legal.’”



Well, heaven forbid anyone should think of the word “whore” in relation to any Biden. (It’s more polite to refer to Hunter’s doxies as “prostitutes.”)



Nothing much ever came from either phone call. As the Post reported,the new “consultant” firm of Balducci, James Biden and Steve Patterson, a man whom Joe Biden met through his Senate colleague segregationist Democratic Sen. John Stennis.



Patterson was a Stennis aide who had gone on to become the chairman of the Mississipp Democratic Party and chairman of Joe Biden’s first campaign for president in 1988.



Just before it was going to open for business, though, Balducci had what must have been an unpleasant discussion with the FBI, who confronted him with trying to bribe a judge on Scruggs’ behalf. Balducci became an informant against Scruggs.



That kind of thing can put a crimp in new business plans. In a further crimp, Patterson ended up caught in the snare and served two years in prison, according to the Post. Scruggs got about five years for his role in the judge-bribing case as well as another case, according to the Post. And Balducci got two years, according to WLBT-TV in Jackson, Mississippi.



So, out of three potential business partners in the “consulting group,” two ended up in federal prison, and one is still the brother of the current president of the United States.



That should make Americans comfortable knowing the Biden family is so above reproach.



According to the Post, the White House declined to answer written questions about the case.



James Biden’s attorney, meanwhile, downplayed any interaction between the Biden brothers in a business sense.



“Jim Biden’s consulting work has never involved speaking with or providing access to his brother for this or any other client,” the attorney, Paul J. Fishman told the Post, presumably by email.



As to the conversation that included the “whore” line, Fishman told the Post that James Biden “was discussing a potential opportunity to sell insurance to the Choctaw tribe, but he never pursued that business.”



And as to James Biden’s involvement with Balducci and Patterson, Fishman told the Post, “more than fifteen years ago, Jim and Sara Biden had serious discussions … about starting a firm that would provide legal and consulting services. That venture never got off the ground. Jim and Sara were not aware of or involved in any unethical or illegal behavior” on the part of Balducci and Patterson.



Of course not. Why would anything think otherwise? It’s just that damnable Biden luck that the family keeps running across crooked Mississippi lawyers, dodgy foreign business associates, top Chinese spies, and who knows how many lithe, attractive Eastern European women of uncertain virtue?



What might be the most interesting part about this whole exercise, though, is exactly why The Washington Post is looking into it now.



This is the newspaper, after all, that’s been carrying Joe Biden’s water since he announced for the presidency in 2019.



It’s part of the cabal of establishment media and social media giants that downplayed the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 to an almost criminal degree.



But now it’s actually interested in some breath of scandal surrounding the Biden family’s tortured history of shady dealings?



Regardless, it’s a good bet this is not what the Biden White House wanted to see in this Sunday’s local newspapers.

New Information About James Biden’s $200,000 Check to Joe Biden Emerges

New details about James Biden’s $200,000 check to Joe Biden emerged after the trustee for Americore’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings testified to the House Oversight Committee.



House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) recently uncovered a $200,000 direct payment to Joe Biden after he received James and Hunter’s subpoenaed documents.



In 2018, Jim Biden received $600,000 in ‘loans’ from Americore Health LLC, a failing/bankrupt rural hospital operator. According to bankruptcy documents, Jim Biden received the loans “based upon representations that his last name Biden could open doors and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.”



On March 1, 2018, Americore Health LLC wired a $200,000 payment to Jim and Sara Biden’s personal bank account. On that very same day, Jim Biden then wrote a $200,000 check to Joe Biden, AKA, “The Big Guy.”


The Republican-led Oversight Committee recently said Joe Biden is refusing to provide applicable loan documentation to show he loaned his brother James Biden money.



James Biden not only defrauded Americore, he ripped off elderly Americans – then sent the money he took from the elderly and cut Joe Biden a check.



According to the House Oversight’s transcribed interview with Carol Fox, the trustee for Americore’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, James Biden’s business partner, Michael Lewitt, pulled money that belonged to elderly Americans from an investment fund and “transmitted it to Americore, which turned around and paid James Biden. James Biden on the same day cut a check to Joe Biden for the exact same amount as James Biden received from Americore.”

James Biden, the brother of President Joe Biden, didn’t provide any services to Americore despite obtaining a $600,000 loan from the struggling healthcare company on the promise that his name could bring in funding from the Middle East, which never materialized, Fox News has learned.



Carol Fox, a Chapter 11 trustee for the financially distressed hospital operator, spoke with members of the House Oversight Committee in an interview where she detailed Americore’s relationship with James Biden.



Fox said the loan was provided to Biden with no documentation in return for the promise of funding from the Middle East that never came. She filed a lawsuit against Biden, saying he made “representations that his last name, ‘Biden,’ could ‘open doors’ and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.”



The suit demanded that the $600,000 loan be paid back to Americore. In a transcribed interview with the committee, Fox said she didn’t see records or documents of the loan from Americore.



On March 1, 2018, Americore wired a $200,000 loan into the personal accounts of James Biden and his wife, Sara. That same day, James Biden wrote the president a $200,000 check from the same personal account.



Fox said the money paid to the president could have come from two sources: predatory loans or senior citizens’ money fraudulently invested by James Biden’s business partner, Michael Lewitt.
